NEW FANTASY SPORTS SITE LAUNCHED

But who are the "leading online game developers and operators" behind FantaZsports.com?

New arrival on the fantasy sports scene is the Denver-based skill gaming website FantaZsports.com, which claims it is a new company formed by "...a partnership of leading online game developers and operators." Unfortunately the company does not further identify these partners.

FantaZsports launched on 1st February in beta mode to test its "self-developed new brand of skill-based, interactive multiplayer cash tournaments," and claims that players can show off their skills in sports, awards events and politics to win cold cash  hot prizes.

The backers claim that FantaZsports is unique in that its patented games are played against a full game or half game rather than all the more usual entire sports season. This reduces the time commitment and increases the immediacy of the chance of winning. Then, since the game is played live against the real event, the adrenaline-fueled opportunity exists to insert last-second questions that pertain to the event as it is happening. Thirdly, the payouts of the winning pools are distributed right after the game, not after a season.

Fourth, for those who do not have time to play FantaZsports live with the event, a second form of the same FantaZsports game, a pre-event model, is available for playing right up to the start of the live event. Fifth, FantaZsports is currently played online, and once out of beta, will also be available on cell phone services as well.

Nick Koustas, one of the founders and managing members of the company says, "While we plan to expand into a slate of baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, football, auto racing, golf, mixed martial arts, swimming, gymnastics, track and field, cycling and college sports, we really wanted to show the world that we will also cover a wide range of entertainment events, award shows, political events and whatever else our imagination allows."
