ASIAN LOGIC CLINCHES MAJOR LAND GAMBLING DEAL
Cooperation agreement signed between Asian companies on land console gaming
A major cooperation deal in the gaming machine and server based gaming sector was signed this week by Elixir Gaming Technologies, Inc. and fast growing London-listed AsianLogic plc. The deal will result in an Asia-wide cooperation that involves marketing efforts, distribution agreements, game content, gaming software, server based gaming experience, manufacturing and additional gaming technology.
Elixir Gaming's principle focus is placing [land] gaming machines on a revenue share basis in Asia and has a strong presence in the Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and other Asian markets. The company currently generates revenues from approximately 1 200 gaming machines placed on participation around the Asia-Pacific region and has a rapidly growing pipeline of gaming machines that currently stands at over 4 500 gaming machines destined for participation agreements in several Asian countries.
Between them, the two companies can claim a significant physical presence in Macau and the Philippines, whilst Elixir Gaming has expanded its physical presence into Cambodia and Vietnam.
AsianLogic, a close associate of the Playtech plc gambling software development group, operates online casinos and peer-to-peer (P2P) game platforms across the Asia-Pacific Region. In addition, it operates land-based sports betting outlets in the Philippines and distributes quality gaming content, software and systems.
