ONLINE CASINO GROUP'S LICENSE TERMINATED
Tusk Investment notifies Microgaming of impending liquidation
The Australia-based Tusk Investment Corporation Limited which owns a number of online casinos and poker rooms was notified today (Wednesday) that its gambling software license has been terminated by turnkey provider Microgaming. The termination came after Tusk advised the software company that it planned to go into liquidation.
Last week, the private player protection and standards body eCOGRA suspended its accreditation "Safe and Fair" gambling seal for the group after a routine professional review discovered unspecified non-compliance issues (see previous Online-Casinos.com/InfoPowa report)
In today's statement, Microgaming advised:
"Microgaming announces that it has terminated its software license with Tusk Investment Corporation - with immediate effect, after having received Tusk's notification of its plans to put the Company into liquidation.
"Microgaming is presently gathering all facts related to this matter and will provide further announcements as and when information becomes available."
Tusk Investment Corporation Limited operates a number of casino sites and poker rooms:
