Internet sports and race book software ordered from Aussie company
BEToptions, a developer of race and sports wagering technology solutions, has been selected by Internet gambling group GlobetVIP to provide internet sports and race book software for the Globet branded gaming and betting sites.
Gregg Rathbone of Gibraltar-based GlobetVIP said that his company had carefully evaluated the BEToptions product for sites like GlobetSport.com before ordering the platform.
"We believe BEToptions gives us the ability and flexibility to successfully offer first class sports wagering services to our customers," said Rathbone. "We wanted a scalable, robust system that would deliver Fixed Odds betting while utilising integrated internet, telephone and retail channels."
GlobetVIP commenced operating with the new software solution on March 7, as part of its upgrade and revamp, with GlobetSport.com becoming the internet portal for the entire Globet portfolio of products.
Stuart Cashen, General Manager of BEToptions said that Globet's customer base of nearly 500 000 customers from all over Europe will be moving to the BEToptions platform in various well planned phases during 2008."
BEToptions is headquartered in Australia, with branch offices in the U.S. and Europe, and offers race and sports technology solutions to the gambling industry on a global scale, with systems delivered locally in multi-lingual and multi-currency configurations. The company was granted a licence by the UK Gambling Commission in late 2007.
