Powerful partners help politicians to help veterans' charity
The Poker Players Alliance is expanded its current political convention-charitable initiative (see earlier Online-Casinos.com/InfoPowa report) by partnering with the influential American Gaming Association for the benefit of the Paralyzed Veterans of America - this time involving Republican poker players.
Following its fund raising effort planned for the Democratic Party's national convention in Denver later this week, the PPA has plans for the Republican National Convention too. Scheduled for September 3rd at 116 First Avenue North in Minneapolis, the initiative includes a VIP reception that will be held from 10:00pm until 10:30pm, followed by a charity poker tournament.
