Aerosmith Signs with GTECH

Boss Media from Växjö, Sweden a subsidiary of GTECH announced recently that they have penned a licencing deal with the world famous rock band Aerosmith. GTECH is a world leading transaction processing and technology integration company. The company from Providence, Rhode Island, in the U.S.A. along with it's parent company Lottomatica in Italy have 6,200 people in over 50 countries, working to make online gambling and lotteries plainly more fun.

The multi-year licensing agreement will give GTECH the exclusive rights to Aerosmith's major public image and develop lottery games across the wide demographic presented by Aerosmith fans.

Ross Dalton, Senior Vice President for Printed Products and Licensed Content. said, " With the band set to release a new album and go back on tour, this year represents a unique opportunity for our lottery customers worldwide to take advantage of this mega brand."

The core group of lottery players which is 60 percent male and 40 percent female, in the 25-54 age group is very close to the same group that listens to and follows the Aerosmith Band. The timing could not be better for the launch of these new games as Aerosmith is scheduled to release a new album and tour in mid-2009.

During its 30-year career Aerosmith has sold over 150 million albums and has received numerous awards, including eight American Music Awards, four Grammy Awards, 12 MTV Music Awards, and many more.
