Bet365 is an international online gambling group with 2.8 million patrons in 140 different countries. The Bet365 Group employs over 900 people and is the 16th largest private company in the United Kingdom. The firm has announced that it has launched Push Technology Ltd.'s Diffusion 2.0 an enterprise level technology that will support the Bet365 new fixed odds, financial betting offer.

Diffusion 2.0, is a real-time push engine, enhancing its product portfolio of Web 2.0 solutions and providing organisations such as financial institutions, online gaming companies, spread betting organisations, travel agents and news feed providers a greatly improved customer user experience by providing real-time, compelling data in a format that requires no browser additions or specialist client implementation.

The technology has the capability to stream volatile pricing information securely and in real-time over the Internet to any net-connected device. Bet365 is using this solution to stream real-time odds over the Internet. Because of the volatility of the price on the financial instruments, Bet365 needs a solution that would ensure the end-user access to the latest odds.

Chief Technology Officer for Bet365, Martin Davies said, "It was essential that we could support the launch of our new fixed odds online financial betting service with a real-time communications infrastructure that would give our customers immediate access to the latest pricing." adding, "Having looked at a range of different options, it was clear that only Push Technology's specialist solution could provide us with the performance and technology leadership we demanded. Diffusion not only handles the increased volatility of real-time financial pricing, but also gives us the scalability and ease of implementation we needed. Working with Push Technology has also helped us to unlock significant operational savings thanks to improvements in our bandwidth and infrastructure usage."

Sean Bowen, Push Technology's Chief Executive Officer said in a statement, "Bet365 clearly understands the importance of providing its customers with real-time access to fixed-odds online pricing, but they also wanted the assurance that comes from working with an enterprise class two-way communications technology that could handle its significant volumes of data efficiently,"
