Bodog is barking up another tree. This time it's called the Bodog Network. The brand is once again expanding it's presence in the online world with intentions to secure a gaming license with the ability to attract and fully service European Union poker operators.
The development of an entirely new Bodog-branded poker network is the main event for the network which also plans to incorporate new domain names and poker rooms into the group of sites during the next year.
Patrik Selin the former Chief Executive Officer of the Ongame Poker Network, has secured compulsory obligations from all Bodog online gambling brands as initial network licensees.
Founder of the successful Bodog Brand Calvin Ayre commented on the new Network, "I am extremely excited about this new licensee of BodogBrand.com - Bodog Network is the first business to business enterprise to license the brand and the fit simply couldn't be better. Patrik Selin's very detailed business plan and proposal were very compelling, and after building Ongame into a network powerhouse under his leadership, his abilities and credibility are unquestionable."
Mr. Selin commented on the future of the Network, "I intend to build one of the largest and most reputable poker networks in the world, and we are building a model that is founded on security and integrity, and Bodog Network partners will never need to disclose or put their customer databases at risk. The initial discussions I've had regarding potential candidate partners have been overwhelmingly positive," adding, "As the network comes online in 2010, we will naturally be extending the network to non-'Bodog' branded operators. Those discussions are already underway."
Selin was CEO when bwin acquired the Ongame Network in 2006 after which he also served as the President and CEO of GNUF and Betway. Selin is a respected European industry veteran and is expected to do very well with the Bodog Branded Network
