Fun88 Goes Live with Isle of Man Licence

As one of the growing number of Asian gaming companies that have chosen the Isle of Man as a licensing jurisdiction, an online gambling and entertainment firm has taken its product to the next level. Offering sports wagering and online casino action it will now go live with live streaming from the Oriental Palace Casino through Entertasia. It will still provide regular online games run by the Microgaming software.

The operations manager for Fun88 Nathan Walker, said, "We are proud and delighted to be awarded the Isle of Man gaming licence and look forward to providing state-of-the-art products and personalised customer service to our valued members"

Welton Holdings Limited which owns the Fun88 site is very proud of it's Isle of Man licence. The company is also licenced in First Cagayan, Philippines. The site offers it's selection of casino games in English, Thai and Chinese.

The company spokesperson from it's Asian division said, "We applied for the prestigious IOM license because it represents the highest standards of jurisdictional control in the gaming industry. We were delighted to receive approval and are keen to grow our business with a genuinely innovative gambling offering."

Head of e-Gaming development for the Isle of Man, Garth Kimber,commented, "I am delighted that has chosen the Isle of Man. I look forward to seeing the company flourish and grow on the Island. They are further proof that quality gaming companies are finding that the Isle of Man is succeeding in creating the right environment to do business from."

The Isle of Man recently entered into the online gambling industry. In 2005 Poker Stars one of the world's largest online poker sites, relocated its headquarters to the Isle of Man from Costa Rica. In 2006, RNG Gaming a large gaming software developer of P2P tournaments and GET21, a multiplayer online blackjack site, based their corporate offices on the island. The economy from online gambling has continued to grow steadily.
