a new British-focused processing company for online gambling transactions called
Ukash.
The result of a joint venture between Smart Voucher and Proc Cyber,
the new companys full title is Universal e-Cash Limited, and casinos promoting
it have been offering matchplay bonuses capped at GBP 100 for players who try
it out.
The Ukash website, Ukash.com, claims that payments into an account
can be effected via any Paypoint outlet. The depositer receives a voucher up to
GBP 100 in value with a code number. There does not seem to be a limit to the
number of vouchers a player can purchase in this manner, redeemable at the participating
casinos.
On the face of it, the new system seems to cater for folks who
