WPT MIRAGE SHOWDOWN WINNER
$1.1 million the spoils
Gavin Smith is the winner of the World Poker Tour's Mirage Poker Showdown held
last week.
Smith won the championship event and a cash payout of more than $1.1 million
by out-playing the tourney's 317 entrants.
This has been a good season for Smith, who also won a $25,000 entry into the
final WPT Championship at Bellagio.
Las Vegas pro Ted Forrest finished second and collected $579,386.
