A GOOD MISTAKE

One of this year's WSOP contestants got there by happy accident...

The World Series of Poker enters what is probably its most exciting phase this week on the run-up to the really big championship events, and one player on his way to Vegas is thankful that he screwed up on entering what he thought was a $10 satellite tournament.

Robert Guinther (65) will compete with some of the top players in the world thanks to his error, because he thought he was entering a $10 online poker tournament when in reality he had mistakenly entered a $100 WSOP satellite event.

He went on to win, earning a spot in a $10,000 buy-in, no-limit tournament at the WSOP later this week, when he will go up against 6,600 other players who qualified or paid the expensive buy-in for the chance to win significant prizes from a prize chest believed to be some $6.5 million this year....and of course one of those famous first place WSOP bracelets.
