Playtech Online Gambling Software Gala Coral Deal Finalized

A deal is a deal but some are better than others. Playtech and Gala Coral are the deal's two principals with Playtech now able to supply the bingo giant Gala Coral with a variety of gaming products and software including its IMS platform.
Industry analysts are speculating that this particular arrangement is an important one and possibly one of the online gambling industry's top three or four deals, and could be valued at several million pounds a year in pre-tax profits.

The Memorandum of Understanding  signed back  in June, allowed Gala Coral to start the redistribution of its existing software platforms to those provided by Playtech.  Products included in the change over are the 6500 Videobet gaming terminals in Gala Coral's 2000 betting shops in the United Kingdom and Europe, its Grosvernor Casino chains, and Gala Coral's land and internet betting operations.
The completed merger ensures the Gala Coral changes from existing suppliers such as the sports book platform, Geneity, software from Chartwell casino, games from Ash Gaming , slot offerings from Cryptologic , live casino games from Evolution, the Ongame poker network  and others.

Players at Gala Bingo will not experience changes, but may gain additional bonus offers and an enhanced loyalty points program. The 10 year deal enhances the Gala Coral image and consolidates it offering with the largest online gambling software suppliers in the world. Beneficial results from this major merger will be felt by consumers and investors for a long time to come. Welcoming the change the Gala Coral Group will hopefully see a boost in the stock value. Market development is one of Playtech’s strong suits and Gala Coral is sure to make strides with greater liquidity and a stronger participant return factor. Those firms that were supplying Gala Coral may find there is need to rethink their own game plans.
