Betfair Signs Amaya Gaming for Online Gambling Software Needs

Montreal-based online gaming technology solutions provider Amaya Gaming Group recently acquired another originally Canadian software firm Cryptologic. Amaya Gaming has been on a roll of late. Founded in 2004, Amaya Gaming Group Inc. is a technology based gaming provider for the regulated gaming industry. An expansive global organization, present in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Amaya provides a host of services and solutions that range from: online gaming platforms, online and mobile casino games, traditional and mobile lotteries, networked electronic gaming systems, hospitality in-room entertainment systems, management systems, content suites, advisory and management services, and integrity monitoring and auditing systems for the regulated gaming markets. Amaya’s partners and clients include governments, national lotteries, corporate operators, land-based casinos and hospitality operators, which are licensed in controlled gaming jurisdictions. Betfair has signed with Amaya Gaming to supply a selection of its unique proprietary and branded games to the Betfair Arcade using an OpenBet integration.

Amaya when acquiring Cryptologic also bought the software’s supplier’s extensive games portfolio that include many popular branded producers. Betfair is one of the world's largest international online sports betting providers and pioneered the betting exchange in 2000.
