Online Gambling's GeoLotto Launches Once Again

The old saying ‘if at first you don’t succeed try try again’ seems to being running its course with the relaunch and relaunch of the online gambling lottery game with a twist. The most recent news to come to us regarding the online lotto game GeoLotto has been redesigned for the market in the United Kingdom. Location-based lottery gaming specialist Geonomics has launched its flagship GeoLotto.com once again after rebranding last year from game developer Roboreus, to Geonomics as part of a move to expand the firm’s location based offerings.

GeoLotto is the game that lets punters claim a piece of Britain, a piece of your football team’s stadium, a famous landmark or even your own back yard. Every piece of real estate that you claim gets entered into a draw, with a chance to win cash prizes ranging from £5 up to the jackpot of £1 Million.  Besides the rebrand, the firm has expanded its portfolio with the addition of second-chance offering Treasure hunt which is an instant win treasure hunt game created for the US lottery market.

GeoLotto.com uses the Google Maps interface to divide the UK into squares that players can select and buy making it very different from the normal method of number selection.

Henry Oakes, co-founder and director of sales at Geonomics, commented, “This marks a significant milestone in our journey to present an innovative, well-tested and engaging location-based lotto game that we know players will enjoy playing.”

A version of the GeoLotto game called GeoSweep was launched in Eastern Canada by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation which convinced the P.E.I. and New Brunswick governments to let it invest $8 million in the company and then spent another $2 million in promotions which failed to attract Atlantic Canadians to play the game. "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There's no point in being a damn fool about it."  Was a quote by the famous American comedian W. C. Fields.
