According to a recent report on Data Server News bet365 has partnered with IFL, a leading provider of Business Class Data Centres and colocation solutions. The firm will provide their Manchester Data Centre location and further secure their growing online presence.

The long term contract gives bet365 a 2,500 square foot private accommodation for its high density server racks. Monitored 24/7 and 365 days per year, security features, include volumetric entry systems and UPS power protection in an n+1 configuration. Redundant power supplies will be provided to all rack locations with advanced cooling facilities. The new IFL data centre in Manchester and will be constructed to bet365 specifications as part of a larger IFL data centre building project. This expansion is one of several planned by IFL in Manchester and other UK Regions. The firm looks to build a UK network of regional Business Class colocation facilities. Reserve power and space will be built into the new suite to accommodate bet365's future needs.

Bet365 is according to the Sunday Times is the UK's 7th largest private company, employing over a thousand people. With over 3 million customers in 200 different countries, bet365 is growing fast. Martin Davies, CTO of bet365 said this of the new partnership with IFL,"At bet365 we need to secure our business through the use of high specification data centres. Bet365 is also making a large investment in their national network infrastructure, facilitated by the presence of multiple on-site network providers. IFL is striding along with other companies providing jobs and resources in the local economy. This is just part of the wealth created by the online gambling industry as a whole.
