Sloto'Cash Review

All US players Accepted SlotoCash Online Casino
Sloto'Cash:

Powered by Rival Casino Software, Sloto'Cash casino is another relative newcomer to the online gaming scene, incorporated in Curacao and licensed to operate by the Central Government of Netherlands Antilles. Having had some good look at other Rival casinos lately, I decided to give Sloto'Cash a try as well.

Sloto'Cash is a download-only casino, meaning there is no browser-based interface available for the casino. While I normally prefer the download versions offered by most online casinos anyway, this means the games are currently not available to those on Macs and other non-PC users (at least, without some kind of emulator software). That said, on Slot'Cash's web site there is the mention of a download version coming soon for the Macintosh, but at the time of review at least, this was not available.

The Sloto'Cash website does a good job of laying out what they have to offer and how to get started, including a good amount of information available about the operators posted in the 'About Us' section, something I always appreciate seeing when I'm doing my research before making that first deposit.

I began to download the casino as I continued to go through some of the other details offered up on the site. This included the promotions section, which has some more information on the bonuses currently being offered, including their 100% Slots Bonus and 50% games bonus available.

I often choose not to claim any bonuses just in case I hit a big win before completing the attached wagering requirements, and after reading the terms on the bonuses available at Sloto'Cash, I decided this would be another one of those times. The 100% match bonus on slots play carries a 15x bonus AND deposit play through requirement, which is far from ideal on it's own, but what concerned me more than that was the following quote specified in the bonus terms:

"If a player is found to use a 'SLOTS ONLY' Welcome Bonus to play any other game (other than the qualifying games stated) before completing the wagering requirements all winnings will be void."

I added the bold for emphasis - what this effectively means is the software won't prevent you from playing other table games after accepting the bonus, but if you do, the casino can nullify any winnings (even a jackpot hit) after the fact if you played anything other than the specified games before meeting the slot wagering requirements. The 50% 'Games Bonus' has similar terms if you look closely under in the 'full' bonus terms & conditions, as well as a very harsh 50x playthrough requirement on both the deposit and bonus! (for example, a $100 deposit would give you a $150 bankroll to play with, but would require $7500 in play before cashing out.) Now that you've been warned, if you do opt to take either bonus, you'll have to claim it before making a deposit as well.

Now that I've downloaded the casino, lets get on to the software! I started by opening a real money account, registration was straight forward, and there were a number of depositing options available. I made a deposit of $150 via credit card, again, choosing to not claim any bonus beforehand.

With my account funded, I decided to first play some video poker. Sloto'Cash offers a number of variations: Jacks or Better, Aces and Faces, Deuces and Joker, Double Joker, Joker Poker, Deuces Wild, Tens or Better and Looses Deuces. These are all available in 1, 4, 10 or 25 hand options, each of which can be chosen after selecting the desired game type. I played a little Jacks or Better in the 4-hand option, and the game played well and at a good pace.

Video poker was going well enough, but after a few hands it seemed my bankroll was starting to go in the right direction, so I decided to hop over to the roulette table and try my luck. I played my 17 strategy as I often do, but after a few rolls of the dice without a hit on my section I grew impatient and decided to hit the slot machines for a while.

For a casino with a name like Sloto'Cash the slot offering is acceptable, but I would have liked to see a few more variations to go with the theme. There are close to 30 slots in all between the 3-reel games, video slots and iSlots, but other software providers such as Microgaming and Playtech beat that out quite a bit in terms of volume, and progressive players are out of luck for now at least.

3-reel slots usually aren't terribly exciting, and those found at Sloto'Cash didn't do much to spice it up. The games did play fine however, and I found the smaller payouts were fairly consistant, allowing me to play for a good period of time without having my balance eaten up. After a fair run at the 3-reels I decided to move on to the video slots to give them a try.

The video slots were good fun, played well and seemed to pay back pretty reasonably as well. I would argue that some of the sound effects weren't done as well done as the graphics, but that depends largely on the game you chose. There were a number of small twists on the game, the graphics were vibrant and well-themed.

In addition to the classic slots and 'classic' types of video slots, Sloto'Cash offers something called 'ISlots' that are only available at Rival-powered venues. These are video slots that take the player through a story as they continue to play on, with certain reel combinations triggering subsequent animated stories and their corresponding bonus rounds.

I do enjoy these innovative games, and the stories and your progression through them do make the slots play significantly more interesting than their traditional counterparts. On previous occasions I've had some good luck on these ISlots, but today lady luck was not smiling down on me, and I didn't manage to progress very far in the stories or hit any significant wins. While these slots are a lot of fun, they can also be quite expensive if you're not hitting the right combinations in your quest to watch the story unfold.

I wanted to have a go at the rest of the table games before I completed my review, and with my balance down to about a third of what it was when I started, I decided to give the ISlots a rest for now and head back to the tables. After playing some Baccarat, Craps, Sic Bo, Pai Gow and Caribbean Stud, I can safely say that all the tables games are well done, and seemed to be offering me a good return on my bets across the board.

As a testament to their addictiveness, I ended up going back to the ISlot 'Reel Crime' to play and watch the story unfold some more. Luck was still not on my side with the slots unfortunately, so when it was all said and done there was nothing left to cash out this time around. Still, I had a good couple hours of play before that.

To conclude, Sloto'Cash offers a fairly solid casino experience all around, but doesn't have the best range of games available, with a notable lack of progressive jackpots considering the slot theme adopted by the casino. Most players will likely be satisfied with the game variety, and slots fans should enjoy the novelty of the ISlots experience for at least a while.

Sloto'Cash Strong Points:
  • A decent variety of games for the most part
  • Good customer support options and web site information provided
  • Good number of depositing options available
  • ISlots are a fun diversion
Things Sloto'Cash Could Improve:
  • Lack of progressive jackpot games
  • While there's a decent number of slot machines, a slots-themed venue could do with a few more machines.
  • Bonus terms are fairly harsh.
