Biggest Progressive Jackpot Network

The Isle of Man based software firm has grounded its reputation on producing some of the industry’s most forward-thinking content. By forging close relationships with the best hand-picked development studios, Microgaming has been able to create a body of games that is unrivaled. On top of that, its progressive jackpot network is the biggest in the world, and has already paid out more than €1.2 billion to date.

April’s games are set to be just as diverse as is to be expected from the prolific tech firm. The new slots and games are sure to have something special to offer every player, taking in every theme and style of gameplay imaginable. Fans can look forward to flights of fantasy, thrilling features and the slickest graphics.

The first title on the list is “Gold Collector”, a light-hearted adventure created in collaboration with the talented team at All41Studios. From April 6th players must don a hard hat, as they’re heading deep underground for this expedition. Shovels, pickaxes and explosives are at the ready, as mining precious gold is the aim of the game.

Players should look out for the HyperHold feature, as this offers the opportunity to win one of five jackpots. By landing a gold coin on a reel while this feature is in play, the reel will be locked in and the respins reset to three. To gain the most prizes, players must try to fill as many gold-coin positions as they can!

Gong Gaming Technologies went live with their latest title “Inferno Gladiator” on April 12th. The Romans are not an unusual theme for slots, but players won’t have seen them quite like this before. Players must navigate through free spins, sticky wilds and multipliers, all while the historic Colosseum is ablaze. Gong has already found success working with Microgaming on such titles as “Skulls Heap” and “Pirate’s Quest”.

New WowPot Slot

For players who prefer more traditional games to online slots, there’s “Hold’Em Poker 2”. As the latest addition to Microgaming’s very own suite of poker games, this title is also playable from April 12th. It’s a multiplayer game with a randomized prize-pool generator and a progressive jackpot. Perfect for playing on the go, Microgaming has optimized this game for mobile devices.

Many Microgaming fans may already have April 13th noted down, as that’s when “Queen of Alexandria WowPot” goes online. Take a trip back in time to the era of the Egyptians with this offering from Neon Valley Studios. The stand-out feature of the game is the WowPot progressive jackpot, which consists of four different tiers. The top prize seeds at €2 million, offering players a truly thrilling opportunity.

Players that are lucky enough to trigger the WowPot Bonus Wheel are guaranteed a win from one of the game’s four jackpot prizes. Other features include expanding wild respins. Players can opt to try out Queen of Alexandria without the WowPot progressive jackpot, instead playing for a fixed-limits jackpot.

Microgaming has worked alongside Rabcat on “Anna Van Helsing Monster Huntress”, released on April 15th. For fans of all things that go bump in the night, this spectacularly spooky slot offers mysterious features with names like Wolf Howl, Wolf Attack and Dracula’s Banishment. It’s a superb addition to Rabcat’s expanding collection of unusual games, which include “Nikola Tesla’s Incredible Machine” and “North Storm”.

Then on April 20th, Microgaming will add “Book of King Arthur” to its portfolio. Created by Just For The Win, a studio with a top track record for making great games, this slot takes players on an Arthurian quest to Camelot. Players should watch out for expanding wilds and boosters as they search for Avalon’s riches. They can also spin the Round Table for a chance at winning a jackpot.

Exclusive Studio Collaborations

A newcomer to Microgaming’s network of independent studios has arrived on the scene, and its collaborative debut looks set to be a real crowd pleaser. From April 22nd, players can try their hand at Buck Stakes Entertainment’s “8 Golden Skulls of Holly Roger Megaways”.

This buccaneering pirate adventure is piled high with special features, including the Firepot jackpot scatter, mystery symbols and rolling reels. There’s also a bonus wheel offering free spins and multipliers. The cherry on top is the Megaways feature, which offers players even more ways to win.

Taking place on the other side of the world from April 26th, there’s “Fu88” from Neko. Adding a touch of traditional Chinese good luck, the character Fu stands for “blessing”. Players will discover three quirky bonus games, including one where they must match three “Fu Babies”. The game marks a charming addition to Neko’s portfolio, which already includes “Pachinko” and “Super Showball”. The slot release comes almost a year after Neko Games first partnered with Microgaming.

For fans that love a more classic style of slot, April 27th brings “9 Blazing Diamonds”. Produced by SpinPlay Games, players will be thrilled as fiery gemstones tumble down the reels and a big band sets a boisterous scene. Landing three or more blazing diamonds on the reels is the key to winning prizes. There’s also a Blazing Wheel, offering further chances to win.

By April 29th, the month may be coming to an end but Microgaming refuses to disappoint. That’s when “Egyptian Tombs” comes out, another historic slot steeped in mythology, this time from Snowborn Games. Egyptian gods and Scarab symbols that trigger special features appear on the reels. The Tomb Bonus feature presents players with a Wheel of Fortune, while Super Spins produce extra symbols and wilds.

Third Party Partners

As well as collaborating with its network of exclusive studios, Microgaming also hosts content from third-party partners. On April 6th, it will launch Irish-themed game “Slots O’Luck”, with the medieval set “Robbin’ Robin” from Iron Dog Studio landing on April 7th. To follow that up there’s a double whammy, with 1X2gaming’s “Triple Bar 98” and “Triple Bar 96”.

From April 19th, players will be able to try out Big Time Gaming’s “Survivor”. This is a game that is sure to appeal to fans of the cult TV series. Big Time Gaming has established its niche in producing immersive games based on hit TV and film franchises, such as “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”. Players will also be pleasantly surprised to discover an unusual twist on the Megaways mechanic.

On April 21st, another title from 1X2gaming will go online, “Phoenix Inferno”, followed by Inspired’s “Fishing Cashpots” on April 26th. Closing the month, there couldn’t be a more apt choice, as “Wild Flower” goes online on April 28th. This Big Time Gaming title takes players on a quest to vanquish ice and frost and bring on the spring!
