Novomatic UK Moves to Streamline Senior Management Roles

Global casino software and hardware developer, Novomatic, has taken steps to streamline the senior management of its UK operations across subsidiary companies, Bell Fruit Games and Astra Games.

Bell Fruit Games Sales and Marketing Director, Ian Shreeve, has had his role expanded to also include a new sales responsibility at Astra Games. Schreeve joined the Bell Fruit Games organisation in 2017.

Alongside Shreeve’s role expansion, Finance and Human Resources Director, Stephen Howlett, will also take on new responsibilities across both of the sister companies, in a move that Novomatic said will improve efficiencies across the brands and provide a solid sense of direction for the sales and marketing drive.

The new structure is more suited to the needs of today’s industry. The lines of reporting are clearly defined and there are significant benefits of bringing together responsibility for sales and marketing for both Astra and Bell-Fruit. Chris Butler , Director Novomatic UK

Butler continued, “Ian has extensive knowledge of the gaming business, working his way up the industry holding a variety of different roles. There’s no doubt that the Astra brand will benefit from his hands-on experience, his drive and his unique insight.”

Shreeve added, “We are at a very important point in the industry calendar with ACOS, EAG and ICE all taking place over a five-month period. We will be using the exhibitions as an opportunity to showcase our world-class content and to explain our strategies to the market moving forward.”

The newly-expanded roles have taken immediate effect, and comes soon after the Novomatic Group of companies reported a 12% increase in sales revenues across the last year. This move is the first in the company’s focus on ‘optimising internal processes’, a declaration that Novomatic AG CEO, Harald Neumann, made when releasing the sales results.
