YG Masters Offers Global Growth

Skyrocket Entertainment has become the latest company to join Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program. Skyrocket Entertainment’s content and development division, The Games Company, is set to join the ranks of a selection of world-class independent studios and game developers.

“Skyrocket has grown rapidly in a very short space of time, however by joining YG Masters they will be able to greatly accelerate that progress and scale, with access to an unlimited audience, all powered by our revolutionary GATI technology. I am positive that our customers and their players will enjoy the innovative games delivered from our Skyrocket partnership.”Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Strategy and Sourcing, Yggdrasil

Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program allows members to take advantage of the latest GATI standardization technology. Through the program, creators have been able to design, produce and distribute excellent content with the use of Yggdrasil’s technology and global network.

Skyrocket Entertainment was first launched at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Since then, the company has grown to become a leading force in its niche market. Skyrocket specializes in adapting Hollywood feature films and branded intellectual property rights for gaming products.

Most recently, Skyrocket Entertainment has acquired international rights to 75 feature films. These include household names, such as Rambo 4, The Expendables and The Fallen franchise. Skyrocket bought The Games Company in 2019, further strengthening its operations and broadening its outreach of award-winning games.

Through The Games Company, Skyrocket will now be able to make the most of Yggdrasil’s development toolkit. GATI is a standardized technology solution that has been proven to be extremely effective in allowing studios and developers to distribute their products around the world. As such, the YG Masters program really is a launchpad to global growth.

Partners who join Yggdrasil’s program to access GATI can also cross-sell their games to any Yggdrasil franchisee in the world. This unusual feature allows for boosted distribution and revenue opportunities, as well as the opportunity for new collaborations.

“We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Yggdrasil. YG Masters has been a phenomenal success for its members and the recent addition of GATI technology will provide us with the firepower we need to significantly boost and further grow our global operations in the most efficient and secure way.”Richard Clarke, COO, Skyrocket Entertainment

Skryrocket will be in good company alongside Reflex Gaming, which joined the YG Masters program at the end of May. Reflex Gaming, which was founded in 2004, is one of the biggest independent machine suppliers in the UK. Reflex Gaming is responsible for some of the most popular land-based gaming content, and has over 4,500 digital machines connected to its Slingshot platform.

Yggdrasil Unveils Gigablox Feature

Yggdrasil is launching a brand new game for fans later this month. On June 24th Lucky Neko will go live, debuting an exciting new game mechanic. Based around the theme of Daruma dolls, a Japanese symbol of luck and perseverance, Lucky Neko boasts detailed illustrated graphics and exciting gameplay.

The unique ‘Gigablox’ feature is unlike any other. Oversized symbols act like individual symbols, taking over the reels to offer players enhanced winning potential. Gigablox symbols can be triggered with every spin, so look out for 2×2, 3×3 and 4×4 blocks. During free spins, you could even land some 6×6 blocks! Gigablox come in all different types, including wild and free spins symbols.

The free spins feature is also something to look forward to, as the reels expand to 6×8. During every free spins session, one randomly picked symbol will become ‘blessed’. Blessed symbols benefit from a x5 multiplier, giving players the chance to win more. While the base game is played on 40 paylines, the free spins mode takes this all the way up to an impressive 85 paylines.

Lucky Neko has a decent RTP of 96.4% and a volatility of 81.5. When it is released this month, it will be available to play on all popular platforms and browsers, as well as on mobile. With its array of intriguing features, Yggdrasil’s characteristically striking graphics and a maximum win potential of €695,300, Lucky Neko is sure to be worth the wait.

Lucky Neko will join a vast portfolio of impressive games, including popular titles Neon Rush, Arthur’s Fortune and Yokozuna Clash. There are also more exciting titles to be released later this month, such as Lightning Joker on June 10th, and Avatars – Gateway Guardians on June 17th.
