Two Florida Casinos Install Link King

After consistent developments in Latin America, Zitro is moving north — just slightly — to Florida, where it will install its progressive multigame, Link King, at two Seminole-owned casinos. Prior to this, the beloved Link King multigame had been installed at casinos around the world, but most recently in Paraguay and Uruguay. Zitro also has a brand-new multigame, Double Link, which has gone live at casinos in Mexico.

Zitro’s Link King: An International Superstar

Since its release in 2019, Zitro’s Link King has been a smash — particularly in the Latin American market. The overwhelming success of the Link King has led Zitro to exponentially grow its business in Latin America, with recent installs in countries including Mexico, Peru, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, and Colombia.

One of the more recent countries to welcome Zitro’s Link King is Uruguay, which welcomed the business thanks to a partnership between Zitro and the Santa Cristina Hotel & Casino. In a statement from representatives from Zitro, it was indicated that more installs in Uruguay could be coming down the pike.

About the success of the game, Zitro’s Regional Director for Latin America Alejandra Burato considered it an era-defining product, one which had had ripple effects on other games throughout the industry. According to Burato’s statement, casinos across countries and customer bases have found great success with Link King.

Now, Link King Comes To Florida

The very latest locations to receive Zitro’s beloved Link King are two Seminole-owned casinos in Florida: Casino Coconut Creek and Classic Casino in Hollywood. Seminole’s Hollywood location is one of two casinos operated by the tribe in the Florida region. Casino Coconut Creek is an integrated casino and entertainment venue.

Other Seminole Casinos

The two Florida locations receiving Zitro’s most popular multigame are not Seminole Gaming’s only casinos in the United States. There are four other Seminole casinos in Florida, including the Seminole Casino Brighton, Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa, and Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood.

What Is Link King?

Link King is a progressive multigame developed and distributed by Zitro, and played on Zitro’s unique, compact Illusion and Allure cabinets. In total, Link King offers players the choice of four different exciting video slots, including Lady Dragon, Casino Mix, Gods Land, and Asian Woods.

Zitro’s Latest: Double Link

Now, Zitro has released another progressive multigame. Will it have the same game-changing success as Link King? Only time will tell. For now, Zitro’s latest, Double Link, has been installed on the Illusion cabinet at PlayCity casinos throughout Mexico, an announcement made by the companies in late November 2020.

Seminole Casinos Reopened In May

Following a statewide lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic this spring, officials in Florida allowed Seminole casinos to reopen by late May, 2020. At the time, it was mandated that the casinos implement necessary hygiene and sanitation measures in order to resume operations in the state.

What Safety Measures Are In Place?

When Seminole casinos reopened, it was decided that each business would ensure that guests would wear masks while on the premises. Should a guest arrive without a mask, employees waiting at the door would be able to give them one to wear while perusing the gambling options inside.

Employees would also take the temperature of guests before they enter the facility. At the time, it was decided that the casinos would also only admit a maximum of 50% of normal occupancy, so as to ensure adequate social distancing while using gambling equipment. This would be emphasized by making less than half of all gambling machines available.

In Florida, COVID Deaths Surge; Vaccine Incoming

Between March and December 12, 2020, more than 1.1 million cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Florida. By mid-December, state health officials were reporting more than 100 deaths a day due to the novel respiratory illness, part of a dismaying trend of COVID-19 surging in the United States as the pandemic drags on.

Officials in the state are eagerly awaiting initial shipments of the much-awaited COVID-19 vaccine, which is beginning its preliminary implementations in the American health industry now. The first to be vaccinated in the US will be frontline workers in the health care industry, followed by the elderly.

White House Encourages Florida To Implement Tougher Restrictions

As infections of and deaths from COVID-19 continue to rise in Florida, the White House coronavirus taskforce has reportedly encouraged Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to enforce stricter measures to contain the spread of the highly contagious virus. In other states, this has included mask mandates, business closures, and/or school closures.

As of mid-December 2020, there is no enforced mask mandate active in Florida. Some states have independently implemented such mandates with ensuing fines for those who do not comply, but Governor DeSantis has reportedly worked to strike down such measures. Additionally, businesses are discouraged from closing their doors.
