Zitro And ORYX Strike Deal

In late January, Zitro Digital announced that it would be partnering with ORYX Gaming, which boasts partnerships with more than 100 providers internationally. One of ORYX’s premiere offerings its its ORYX Hub, a multi-use technology which offers content aggregation, marketing, and product integration for partners. This is just the latest for Zitro, which continues to assert its presence as a power player in the Latin American gaming industry.

What Is ORYX?

ORYX Gaming is a B2B gaming and technology solutions provider largely operating in Europe. The company has been active for more than 15 years, and boasts certification in Europe’s main gambling markets, including GLI, SIQ, NMi, and the Malta Gaming Authority. In total, 200 employees work for ORYX, which has four offices globally.

ORYX boasts offices in the UK, the USA, Malta, and Slovenia, and the company works with more than 400 different brands in Europe, Latin America, and the United States. Partners of ORYX can expect access to the company’s omni-channel iGaming platform, which hosts more than 10,000 games, as well as sports betting and lottery options.

ORYX Hub

One of ORYX’s most unique offerings is the ORYX Hub, an online platform featuring online gambling content from more than 100 different providers. The ORYX Hub comes with a vast selection of different gambling options, including iGaming, slots, live dealer, sports betting, lottery, eSports, and live lottery.

In addition to more than 10,000 games available to ORYX Hub users, the ORYX Hub offers solutions for the back-end as well, helping its partner companies with important online operations with its Player Engagement Platform and Data Services. According to the ORYX website, the Hub manages to calibrate requirements to fit many different jurisdictions.

ORYX And Zitro Digital

This final feature is particularly useful when it comes to partnerships like the brand-new alliance announced between ORYX and Zitro Digital, the online gambling wing of Zitro, a multinational gambling company with operations scattered globally, meaning different necessary requirements must be implemented for each country.

In this partnership, ORYX’s catalog of more than 10,000 games will be coming to users of Zitro Digital, which specializes in video bingo, slots, and Let’s Wind Up!, a specially-calibrated game tailored to add a social component to the gambling experience. Using this function, which also is a game, gamers can make avatars and play with friends.

The Games Coming To Zitro Digital

ORYX has a massive catalogue of games from some of the biggest names in the international gambling industry. This includes developers like iSoftBet, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Betsoft, Netent, Betradar, Microgaming, Habanero, Red Tiger, and many more — in fact, more than 100 different developers have partnerships with ORYX!

For just a taste of some of the thousands of games now available to Zitro Digital players, this will include virtual slots like Evil Elf: The Night Before Christmas, a slot from brand-new games developer Arcadem. ORYX also has its own in-house gaming content of 47 original titles, like Casino Patience and Mission: Atlantis.

Zitro: Setting Trends In Retail, Moving Online

Zitro has recently become a major player to watch in the international gambling industry following the release of its most popular cabinet to date, a progressive multigame called Link King. Until recently, Link King was available only in retail gambling locations via Zitro’s new cabinets, the Illusion and Allure.

Over the last several years, Zitro has continued to grow exponentially, particularly in the Latin American market, even building an additional hub for operations in Colombia at the beginning of 2020. While the company continues to grow its retail presence and promote its latest multigame, Zitro is also expanding decisively into other options.

Zitro Digital Comes To Colombia

One of the more significant developments for Zitro’s online gambling segment happened at the end of January 2021, when the company received a coveted certificate to operate online gambling in Colombia, with the caveat that Zitro Digital would only be able to operate video slots and bingo to its Colombian customers.

How Will Zitro Digital Work In Spain?

ORYX’s unique ability to customize gameplay based on the regulations of different areas in which companies operate may be particularly useful for Zitro, which is based out of Spain — a country that has made no secret of its opposition to legal online gambling for the last several years, following significant public protests throughout the country in fall 2019.

Since then, a coalition of left-leaning parties in Spain have worked together to implement a series of strict laws curtailing online gambling, particularly as it intersects with advertising to those susceptible to developing addictive gambling behaviors — namely, minors.

Despite Spanish Government Opposition, Industry Continues Growing

Despite these new rules, however, it seems that the online gambling industry in Spain continues to grow at a steady clip. In late January, 2021, an announcement came via Google’s PlayStore that gambling apps would be allowed in select countries including Spain. Before, gambling apps had only been allowed in Brazil, France, Ireland, and the UK.
