AmTote International and Global Pari-Mutuel Services Team Up

According to the Enhanced Online News Global Pari-Mutuel Services Inc. a pari-mutuel gaming and wagering services provider, today recently announced it has entered into an agreement with AmTote to provide its services on an exclusive basis for GPRM’s new proprietary financial markets-based technology.
AmTote International Inc. created the first automated totalisator system, the first cash/sell terminal, the first regional hub system and the first Windows based tote system, and continues into the future with wireless terminals, voice betting, Internet betting and instant racing. AmTote now has over 90 customers worldwide and over 300 employees in the U.S., Canada and Australia. The firm has become the premier supplier of pari-mutuel systems and services in the world.
Steve Keech, president of AmTote commented,  “We are excited about this new use of our technology, which previously had been used exclusively by the horseracing and dog racing industries,” Keech further explained,  “We are pleased to be teaming up with Global Pari-Mutuel in such an innovative venture.”
Global Pari-Mutuel Services Inc. is focused on deploying technology and providing services designed to facilitate pari-mutuel wagering over the Internet and through international call-centers and physical off-track-betting (OTBs) facilities. The company is currently developing a new proprietary technology related to its pari-mutuel trading hub that will allow users to compete, using a system of pari-mutuel wagering, based on the relative price movements of various financial instruments.
Stephen Ferrando, chief information officer, Global Pari-Mutuel Services Inc. commentd on the deal, “AmTote is the best provider for the type of pari-mutuel technology we need,” Ferrando  added, “AmTote’s ability to handle high transaction volumes will be critical for our new product.” GPRM’s new product is currently under development and is expected to launch later this year.
The teaming up of companies such as Global Pari-Mutual Services Inc. and AmTote International ushers in a new era of co operation and better service for online gamblers who choose to use the net.
