New Phones Offering More for Mobile Gambling

The world of mobile gambling keeps expanding to the point where according to a recent survey revealed that 55% of Americans used a mobile device to access the internet last year. This number is massive and it compares with numbers in Europe and in other areas of the world with almost seven million subscribing users.

The users of mobile devises want the same information at the same speed that desk tops and laptops computers offer. Major sites such as Amazon, Wikipedia and Facebook see about 20% of their traffic from mobile-only users who tend to be the younger demographic.

Online gamblers are happy with the advances in mobile technology that is being fueled by the growing demand and use. The new smartphones are more powerful and easy to use than ever before as phone manufacturers compete to offer better graphics and sound plus speed and capabilities.

After months of hearing about it, Samsung has finally announced details of its Galaxy S4 Mini phone which is by all standards an excellent new addition to the Galaxy family. Technically it boasts a 4.3 inch qHD SuperAMOLED screen which will be excellent for mobile gaming. The device will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean complete with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.

The phone will have a 1.7GHZ CPU and 1.5GB of RAM. There is also 8GB of storage space built in which can be extended thanks to a microSD card slot and there is a 1,900mAh replaceable battery which should last long enough for hours of online mobile gaming. The dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS is a great feature of this device. There will be a number of versions of the S4 Mini, LTE and NFC capable devices, 3G HSPA+ compatible and a dual-SIM 3G model. It is expected to debut soon at the Samsung event on June 20th.
