King of Alexandria Mega Moolah
King of Alexandria Mega Moolah is the newest instalment in the hugely popular Mega Moolah series. Developed by Neon Valley Studios, a partner company of Games Global, it came out in 2024.
What made it stand out was that it had not one, but four progressive jackpots. Each of these has a different seed value that it resets to when it’s won. The Mega jackpot is the biggest.
This one resets to a seven-figure sum, so anyone who’s lucky enough to win it becomes very wealthy indeed. Because the original Mega Moolah slot was such a hit, Games Global incorporated its jackpots into several other slots.
There are now over a dozen Mega Moolah slots, all of which share the four progressive jackpots. The King of Alexandria slot has an Egyptian theme and comes with impressive visuals and sound effects.
It uses a 5×3 grid and has 10 paylines that run in both directions. Land a wild, and not only will it expand to fill the reel it’s on, but it will also trigger a respin.
White diamonds can appear alongside any regular symbols that land on reels 2-4. These have a chance of triggering the progressive jackpot feature, where you spin a wheel to win one of the four jackpot prizes.
The Mega jackpot from the Mega Moolah slots is known for paying out huge sums of money. Its biggest win is over £20 million, while its average payout is around £6 million.
Mega Fortune
This progressive jackpot slot is themed to riches and the high life, which is no surprise given the large amount of money it can pay out. Developed by NetEnt, it’s been a hit among players ever since 2009.
This slot has three progressive jackpots: Rapid, Major and Mega, which is the biggest. The Mega jackpot once held the world record for the largest progressive jackpot payout thanks to a €17.9 million payout.
There are two special features in Mega Fortune. One of these is a multi-level bonus game where you could win one of three progressive jackpots or a smaller cash prize as consolation. Then there’s the free spins round.
This comes into play whenever three scatters appear. While the round’s in play, a multiplier worth 1x to 5x applies to all winnings (except any you earn from the bonus game).
Mega Fortune has low volatility, so regular payline wins should be fairly common and quite small. The slot has 25 paylines you can win on and a wild that helps you create winning combinations. Our Mega Fortune slot review breaks it all down.
Sisters of Oz WowPot
This online slot from Triple Edge Studios is loosely based on The Wizard of Oz and has a quartet of witches as its main characters. It’s similar to the Mega Moolah slots in that it has four progressive jackpots.
The biggest of these, the WowPot, is seeded at £2 million, guaranteeing anyone who wins it a major cash reward. Whenever low-paying potion symbols land, they may come with a coin.
Each coin gives you a chance of getting a spin of the progressive wheel. The bigger your bet is, the greater your chance of earning a spin will be. The wheel awards you one of the slot’s four progressive jackpots.
The four witches can appear on the middle three reels as stacked symbols up to four positions high. They can also form extra-large jumbo blocks. As well as the jackpot feature, there’s the free spins round.
Land three scatters and you’ll get to play this. While using free spins, all wins (except jackpots) are doubled. Also, there’s guaranteed to be a jumbo block on every spin.
Age of the Gods: Amazon Wild
Next up is the newest instalment in Playtech’s popular Age of the Gods series. Each of the slots in the series gives you the chance to win four progressive jackpots. The biggest of these resets at £100,000.
There are over two dozen slots in the Age of the Gods series as well as keno, scratchcard and live roulette games. Every one is based on mythology. At first, the series focused on the myths of ancient Greece.
Norse legends have also been featured. In Age of the Gods: Amazon Wild, the focus shifts to an Amazon queen who appears as a wild symbol. Whenever she lands fully stacked, the Amazon Wild Respin feature comes into play.
You get respins, with the wild moving one position to the left on every respin. The feature ends when the wild leaves the screen. As it moves, it can gain enhancers such as multipliers and extra wilds.
Age of the Gods: Amazon Wild has 25 paylines on its 5×3 grid. On any spin, whether you win or lose, there’s a very small chance the jackpot feature will trigger. Increasing your bet boosts these odds a bit.
If you’re lucky enough to trigger the jackpot feature, you’ll be taken to a separate screen with 20 coins. Each one reveals one of four progressive jackpots. Reveal three matching coins to win the corresponding prize.
Neko Night: Dream Drop
Software company Relax Gaming has released dozens of slots in its Dream Drop series. The slots vary greatly in their theme and features. What they have in common is a randomly triggered feature that lets you win one of five progressive jackpots.
Neko Night: Dream Drop is a Japanese-themed online slot that’s set in Tokyo at night. Lucky cats sit above the reels, while origami, sushi and an anime-style girl appear as some of the slot’s high-paying symbols.
Each wild triggers the Neko Respin feature, which keeps giving you respins until no new wilds appear. Whenever a wild lands on a reel and there’s already one there, it gains a multiplier.
The slot also has a free spins round, which launches when three scatters land in the base game or during a respin sequence. Multipliers from the triggering spin carry over into the free spins round.
What’s more is that if you trigger respins while using free spins, multipliers don’t reset. Before any base game spin, you may get a special Jackpot Spin. Only blanks and Neko DD symbols can appear.
Land five Neko DD symbols – one on each reel – to play the Dream Drop Bonus round. This gives you the chance to win one of five progressive jackpots, the biggest of which resets to £500,000 when won.
Ready to Chase a Growing Jackpot?
Any of these five could turn a single spin into a life-changing payout, but the odds are long. Play for the chase, set a budget you’re happy to lose, and treat a jackpot as a bonus rather than a plan.
