Neteller Skrill Online Gambling Payment Options Diminished

Playing on an online gambling website for real money whether its poker or slots there is always some sort of financial transaction that must accompany the activity. Governments have used the prohibition of financial transactions involving online betting to stop patrons from using unauthorized gambling web locations in various jurisdictions. The effort has worked somewhat but punters seem to find other ways of depositing and receiving payments related to online gambling.

A recent post that a major financial service company will no longer be providing access to services to customers in 100 countries has a few punters especially those who play poker looking for the alternatives. It was announced by the parent firm of NETELLER and Skrill, two often used payment options will no longer be providing prepaid MasterCard services.

The exit does not affect European nations in the EU and European Economic Area including  Norway, Switzerland, France, Austria, Italy, the United Kingdom and America. Of the one hundred nations that are to be out of luck are New Zealand, Australia, Colombia, Brazil and others.

Customers were sent an email from company that owns Skrill and NETELLER, Paysafe Group, advised customers thus, “We regret to inform you that as of November 25, 2016, we will no longer offer the Skrill Prepaid MasterCard® in your country,” the letter stated. “You will not be able to use your card but your Skrill Account remains fully functional and your balance is unaffected. You can withdraw funds from your Skrill Account to your bank account or send money to any other Skrill user or online business accepting Skrill.”

The action will give some online gambling consumers a situation that can be dealt with by using other common withdrawal options such as bank wire transfer and Entropay, but they don’t allow customers to access their money as fast as using the NETELLER or Skrill e-wallet solution.
