Bodog and Haydock Launch in Asia

Bodog Entertainment Group announced the launch of its Asian site recently, following the March 2009 agreement between Bodog and the Manila-based online gambling operator Haydock Sports Ltd.. With high expectations for the brand and an eye open to the future of online gambling in Asia, bodog88.com, was revealed May 18. Haydock Sports Ltd. has been managing in Asian from 2006 and operates flourishing online poker room and sportsbetting site 9Play.com.

Ian Dunning, Haydock's managing director said of the launch, "The Bodog brand is known worldwide for entertainment and a truly unique online experience; the Bodog culture is very different from anything currently offered in the Asian market today, so we feel we have a competitive advantage as a lifestyle brand,"

In an earlier interview regarding the licencing agreement with Bodog Mr.Dunning was quoted as saying, "The Haydock team brings over a century of industry experience, coupled with deep regional expertise. Asia is not a market for the faint of heart, but we are absolutely confident that the fusion of the powerful Bodog brand and technologies with our infrastructure and expertise will be simply unstoppable. The synergies are tremendous."

Along with a sportsbook, the new web site offers a live dealer casino from Entertasia Technology. Bodog also announced it's site Bodog.com is closing in on its three millionth signed up customer.

Bodog is head quartered, and licensed in, the jurisdiction of Antigua. The Bodog group of companies includes an online Sportsbook, Casino, Poker Room and a suite of other gaming products. The Group does not offer "for money" gaming services in North America. Gaming services offered and operated in North America under the Bodog brand are made available exclusively by Morris Mohawk Gaming Group in Quebec, Canada.
