Full Tilt Poker felt the pain when Swedish online poker star “isildur1” now revealed as Viktor Blom was signed away from the poker room by the PokerStars camp. Trying to fill that void may prove difficult for Full Tilt but they are attempting to add a new face or two to their team of great professional card players.
Canadian, Peter Jetten, a 25 year old high-stakes cash player has accepted the Full Tilt Poker package and will come to play for the Full Tilt team in coming sessions.
“I`m very excited to be with Full Tilt. I’ve always liked them. They are a very reputable site so I’m proud to represent them, I may even get a little more recognition because of it.” Jetten said during the press conference signing.
Jetten started his career as a professional poker player back in 2004 when he made two cashes in free roll tournaments for a combined $75. Moving on to the low stakes poker tournaments and the cash-games he ended up finishing the year with a profit of $100,000.
So far Jetten has made twenty live poker tournament cashes, and has reached the final table in six of them. His biggest cash to date was in the £20,000 High-Roller event of the 2008 European Poker Championships where he finished fourth with £189,000 in his pocket. The young Jetten has made $1,842,599 in live poker tournament winnings, and an additional $652,236 from online poker tournaments.

Peter Jetten’s screen name is ‘apathy123’ and he knows he has become a primarily a force in the online poker world, but he has been increasingly making his presence felt on the live tournament poker circuit. Jetten has already garnered respect from many players on the tour, young and old, and he recently recorded a high finish in the 2007 World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Classic, where he finished in 18th place.
