Just five years ago the Barcelona Affiliate Conference began to inspire delegates into thinking they could do more and make better profits while having a bit of fun doing it. Since then the affiliates have conquered and expanded their horizons. When the Barcelona conference first began there wasn’t a regulated online gambling market in Spain.

iGaming Business’ Shona O’Donnell said recently in a CalvinAyre.com interview, “Altogether we expect to have around 100 affiliate programs at Barcelona and so far it’s quite exciting because of all the registrations to date around 90 percent are affiliates so we should have really good affiliate numbers,” With iGB Espana coordinating the conference there will be two delineated streams at this event. The iGB Espana is all in Spanish while the Affiliate side will be English.

This is an intense opportunity to get the two sides together the, operators and the affiliates all on the beach together. Affiliates get into the event for free with an open bar available every afternoon during the dual event. There is a dedicated app is in the pipeline that is going to be nothing short of fantastic. “It not only lets you who’s speaking but also what the agenda is,” Alex Pratt said, “You can create your own agenda within the app and see all delegates that are attending and arrange interviews with them.” Regarding changes from last year the organizers commented, there will be a focus on the content at the event as this was what the delegates highly valued in 2011, some incredible speakers and topics that are guaranteed to get insights and opinions that just aren’t available at the mainstream iGaming conferences.

The Spanish market is young and still finding its place in Europe’s online gambling scene. What better a place to have a bit of sun, sea and good times while filing your business wallet with contacts and ideas be there October 11th through the 14th 2012.
