American’s love their golf tournaments and those contenders from the United Kingdom do their best to beat the rest and put the ball in the cup with the least amount of strokes. Tiger Woods is displaying great promise again as the Masters Tournament in Augusta sees the final preparations for the start on August 11th 2013. Augusta National Golf Club in Atlanta Georgia is expecting record crowds again this year as the best golfers in the world gather to compete for the green jacket.

Nearly all U.K. white listed online betting operators are listing Tiger Woods as the favourite to win. While not very many golfers from across the pond have done that well at the Masters some are going to give it their best shot. Irish player Rory McIlroy made a bold statement indicating his intentions, "I don't care if I miss 10 cuts in a row if I win a major this year. … What it's all about is winning the big tournaments." The online bookies are giving McIlroy odds close to Woods. The course looks incredible as the players begin their practice rounds. The Masters has invited the youngest player in the tournament’s history this year, providing the Tournament with a well-seasoned rookie, 46-year-old Thaworn Wiratchant. A Bangkok, Thailand, native Wiratchant is very well known in Asia for his skill at golf having won a total of 15 tournaments on the Asian Tour over the years His skill was rewarded in 2012, see him take three events, finishing second in four others and winning Player of the Year honors, as well as the Order of Merit. All of this contributed to the Masters Tournament officials calling on Wiratchant as the International Invitee for the 2013 competition.

Other online bookie odds are listed with Phil Mickelson at 11/1 as the third favourite then, Justin Rose 20/1 and South African professional Charl Schwartzel at 22/1.
