Grande Vegas Review

All US Players Accepted @ Grande Vegas Casino
Grande Vegas Casino

I've always been a fan of casinos powered by Real Time Gaming software – indeed one of my early big hits (for $4000) came courtesy of a casino running on this platform. However sadly the brand has been marred by a number of operators who have acted in a 'rogue'-like manner, often imposing bizarre conditions to limit a player's ability to withdraw and indeed on some occasions have simply held on to winnings without even giving a reason. However, this is certainly not true of all RTG operators and with Grande Vegas new to the scene and getting rave reviews I decided to see what all the fuss is about.

Grande Vegas Casino operates on both a download and no-download platform although actually the casino was so new at the time of testing the no-download link didn't actually do anything. However, this didn't concern me as I always opt to go with the download version of casinos anyway – it's the best in terms of game selection and configurability options etc. The download and installation process, as with many casinos, was a doddle and within a few minutes I was ready to create me new account.

All play at Grande Vegas takes place using US Dollars ($) as the play currency and US players will be pleased to know that they are welcome to play at this casino. Of course, other players across the world can play too and thankfully a quick bit of form-filling is all that is required to get a new account created.

Funding an account is similarly straightforward and I was able to make a $100 deposit using my credit card without issue. A range of 'real world' deposit options are available including the standard set of e-wallet options including NeTeller, Money Bookers and Eco Card. Although I didn't take a deposit bonus a player can get a bonus amount added to each deposit the first five times they make a deposit. With some of these matches equalling 200% of amount deposited the bonus money available at Grande Vegas is huge – indeed up to $1850 can be claimed as free money. Of course these bonuses have wagering conditions attached although since no games are banned (just not counted in full for wagering purposes) it is possible to make some decent money from this set of sign-up offers.

As with the majority of modern casinos, the huge range of games available means a menu system has to be used to group games by type. As such, Video Poker players can jump in to the VP section and similarly table fans like me can go straight to that part of the casino.

Specifically I opted to play Blackjack first and although I'm acutely aware this is something I do almost every time when reviewing a casino, I still cannot seem to pull myself away from this game! The immediate thing that hit me was that actually Blackjack players get a wide choice of games to pick from at Grande Vegas – traditional Blackjack is available but so are variations such as Pontoon, Face-up 21, Supermatch 21 and Perfect Pairs amongst others. The only downside is that multi-hand games are lacking but still this variety of games certainly impressed me.

Upon entering the game I was also impressed to see a good betting range was available. In my experience most RTG casinos tend to have betting limits on the low side but at Grande Vegas many of the table games including Blackjack allow bets of between $1 and $250.

The games themselves are also well presented with decent graphics and sound effects employed to make playing as fun as possible. My only criticism is that some of the table games have a slightly dated feel in terms of presentation – unlike many other casino providers RTG have not really done much to their table games since they were rolled out a few years ago. Nevertheless, there really isn't much to complain about as the games are certainly still enjoyable and lovers of slick, fast action will certainly love the Grande Vegas table games experience.

After playing Blackjack and a few of the other table games available I next moved on to the Video Poker section of the casino. Again a huge number of Video Poker varieties are available including classics such as Deuces Wild, Joker Poker, Jacks or Better as well as more specialist games such as All American and Mystery Poker. The other impressive thing with Grande Vegas is that pretty much every game can be played across 1, 3, 10, 52 or 100 hands. Similarly a betting range of between $0.01 and $5 coin size should certainly keep players happy (across 100-hand games players can max bet $500!)

The Video Poker game presentation is also decent although again I think some work could be done with slightly improving the presentation. This again though didn't dent my fun and actually a few winners along the way meant my bankroll was now up to around the $150 mark – not bad after playing for around an hour already!

The last section of the casino I tried out was the slot area. Grande Vegas has a huge number of slots and the great thing with many of them is that they have progressive jackpots that just climb and climb until they are won! In fact, at the time of playing over $6 million of jackpots was up for grabs! This is huge and certainly slot fans will be in there element at Grande Vegas.

Grande Vegas offers both three-reel mechanical-style slots as well as video slots and with bets accepted from just pennies all the way up to, in some cases, many hundreds of dollars any player should be satisfied with the Grande Vegas offering.

I tried out the brightly-coloured Bunko Bonanza game and had a ball trying to activate the bonus rounds which I've heard can be many times a bet placed. Sadly I didn't manage this feat but still had a great time. In fact the graphics and sound effects across all of Grande Vegas' slot games really enthralled me and the way reels spin for a little bit longer when you are waiting on just one bonus symbol to appear really got my heart racing!

In fact, I did manage to hit the free spin bonus whilst playing Field of Green. This American Football-themed game seemed to be hitting all over the place and when the free spins returned over $140 on a $1 bet it certainly brought a smile to my face!

In fact, after leaving this game my luck continued elsewhere in the casino and I ended up with a profit of just over $500 on my deposit – this was a great win in my eyes and I was thankful some big Blackjack bets had paid off for once! At this stage I went to the cashier to withdraw but was stopped from actually making the withdrawal as some security forms needed to be completed. This I did and within a few hours my account had been set to accept withdrawals. Within 24 hours of requesting the withdrawal the funds were in my NeTeller account and subsequently other withdrawals I have made have been processed in this incredibly quick time frame. This is certainly a plus for Grande Vegas and is something I really wasn't expecting.

The support at Grande Vegas also proved to be extremely responsive. Live chat, telephone support and email are all available and although I didn't try the telephone support, I did contact support via email and chat and was hugely impressed with the responses received. Emails I sent were sometimes responded to within literally minutes and with the live chat function offering round the clock assistance it means help really is at your fingertips. For a new casino this is particularly impressive and shows how far Grande Vegas is going to make a positive impact on the online casino scene.

In conclusion I have to say my play at Grande Vegas far exceeded my expectations. I certainly thought this casino would match many others I have played at (and think of in a positive light). However, with the super-fast withdrawal processing speeds and ultra-responsive support Grande Vegas certainly comes near the top of my favourites list, a feat all the more impressive given the newness of this casino. With a great game selection, good set of bonuses and presentable games, Grande Vegas is a newcomer that deserves to be around for many years to come – certainly it is highly recommendable in our eyes.
