Bram’s Recommended New Online Slots

This month’s standout new online slots span five studios and styles: Pragmatic Play’s Jelly Express, Slotmill’s Demon’s Gate, BGaming’s Grand Buffalo Hold and Win, and two Hacksaw Gaming releases — Marlin Masters Atlantis and Dynasty of Death. Here’s why each earns a spin.

Bram's Recommended New Online Slots — our top 5 new releases

Our pick of the best new online slots this month.

There are many new online slots released every month, more than anyone could reasonably keep up with. Most are perfectly fine, but the ones that do something interesting with a theme, introduce a fun mechanic, or simply feel thoughtfully made shouldn’t slip under the radar.

Our Recommended New Online Slots for 2026:

  1. Jelly Express by Pragmatic Play – Released on 30 March 2026
  2. Demon’s Gate by Slotmill – Released on 21 April 2026
  3. Grand Buffalo Hold and Win by BGaming – Released on 21 April 2026
  4. Marlin Masters Atlantis by Hacksaw Gaming – Released on 23 April 2026
  5. Dynasty of Death by Hacksaw Gaming – Released on 30 April 2026

To keep you in the loop, I’ve chosen five recently released slots that I think are worth your time. Each one stands out for a different reason, whether it’s the mechanics, the design, or how it plays overall.

Jelly Express by Pragmatic Play

Candy-themed scatter-pay slot with customisable free spins.

Pragmatic Play is quite prolific, but Jelly Express caught my attention for a few reasons. First of all, the theme of travelling by train through a sweetie paradise is new and intriguing. Candy-themed slots are everywhere, but this takes more visual care and uses the theme to better effect than most. The animations are genuinely good, and the soundtrack fits rather than grates.

It is a scatter pay slot on a 6×5 grid, so you can forget about paylines, as wins are formed by landing eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the reels. It is a mechanic that’s also used in their popular series of Gates of Olympus games. When a wild contributes to a win, a multiplier between 1x and 100x is applied to all wins involving wilds during any cascades that follow. The Free Spins round is customisable, as players are given the chance to pick from five options with different spin counts and multiplier ranges, plus a mystery pick that chooses for you. I like how you can exert some control rather than being catapulted into a Free Spins feature as the game takes over.

The maths model is a common one for Pragmatic Play, but they clearly think it works for a reason. While I would prefer a higher maximum win, the 96.5% RTP and high volatility with a 5,000x max win are a good start.

Key Features of Jelly Express:

  • Developer: Pragmatic Play
  • Release Date: 30 March 2026
  • RTP: 96.5%
  • Volatility: High
  • Grid: 6×5
  • Ways To Win: Scatter Pay
  • Max Win: 5,000x bet
  • Key Features: Tumbles, Wild Multiplier (up to 100x), Free Spins with Pre-Round Choice, Super Free Spins

Demon’s Gate by Slotmill

Dark cluster-pays slot with moving multiplier wilds.

Slotmill will not be a name that immediately jumps out at you, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t consistently produced well-designed cluster pays games for some time now. Demon’s Gate is their latest, and it is complete with a dark and mysterious aesthetic. With a demon hunter theme, ominous soundtrack, and a colour palette dark enough for Dracula, you can get an idea of the feel of this game.

The multiplier Wild Symbols have made this game stand out to me. Rather than a static wild, this one carries a multiplier value between 3x and 100x that applies to any win it’s part of. What’s so good about these symbols, though, is that they then move to a new position on the grid and get a boosted value after each win. It is such a simple way to make Wild Symbols have a larger effect on the game, especially in a cluster pay slot with cascading wins.

This devilish slot game contains a standard Free Spins feature, triggered by three scatters, and a Super Free Spins feature triggered by a special Super Bonus Scatter. The Super Bonus starts with two Multiplier Wilds in play instead of one. The multiplier can reach up to 100x during the Free Spins features. The game overall offers a maximum win of 10,000x your stake.

Key Features of Demon’s Gate:

  • Developer: Slotmill
  • Release Date: 21 April 2026
  • RTP: 96.02%
  • Volatility: High
  • Grid: 5×5
  • Ways To Win: Cluster pay
  • Max Win: 10,000x bet
  • Key Features: Multiplier Wilds (3x–100x), Cascading Wins, Free Spins, Super Free Spins

Grand Buffalo Hold and Win by BGaming

Wild West Hold & Win slot using BGaming’s TrueWays.

Grand Buffalo Hold and Win takes a very common theme for slot games, the Wild West, and makes something unique. It uses BGaming’s TrueWays mechanic, where symbols vary in size, which changes the number of ways to win on each spin.

There are two bonus features worth knowing about. Firstly, the Fireball Respins round, which triggers when at least six Fireball symbols land. Each Fireball carries a cash value from 1x to 15x bet, or one of the jackpot values of either Mini (20x), Major (100x), or the Mega Jackpot of 1,000x. A Lightning symbol can also appear during respins, splitting cells and adding more Fireballs to the grid.

Then there’s the Free Spins feature, triggered by four or more scatters, which awards 12 spins to begin with. It features wild multipliers of 2x, 3x, or 5x that accumulate during the round. I think it would benefit from a higher maximum win than 5,000x your stake, but otherwise, Grand Buffalo is both a great Wild West slot and an excellent Hold & Win slot.

Key Features of Grand Buffalo Hold and Win:

  • Developer: BGaming
  • Release Date: 21 April 2026
  • RTP: 96.27%
  • Volatility: High
  • Grid: 5 reels
  • Ways To Win: TrueWays
  • Max Win: 5,000x bet
  • Key Features: TrueWays Mechanic, Fireball Respins (Mini, Major, Mega Jackpots), Lightning symbol, Free Spins with Accumulating Wild Multipliers

Marlin Masters Atlantis by Hacksaw Gaming

Atlantis-themed fishing slot with LootLines and four jackpots.

Hacksaw Gaming’s Marlin Masters Atlantis is the third instalment in their Marlin Masters fishing series. It is an excellent example of how to advance a franchise without just reskinning the previous instalment. The shift to an Atlantis setting gives the visuals genuine personality. It’s like a Greek mythology theme filtered through an underwater fishing theme.

It features a LootLine mechanic that you need to understand before you play. Rather than traditional payline wins, Marlin symbols carry individual cash prizes (1x to 100x), and when enough of them land on a payline, LootLines pays those prize values directly. You can also win the prizes attached to Marlin symbols when they land at the same time as a Fisherman symbol. The Kraken Collector triggers respins during which all Marlin symbols become sticky.

While it does involve features similar to Big Bass Splash and Fishin’ Frenzy, Marlin Masters Atlantis stands out for its design, the 10,000x maximum win, and the availability of four jackpots. Plus, there are two Free Spins features: Sunken Empire, triggered by three scatters, and Pose for Poseidon, which requires four scatters to trigger. It may also be a good slot game for beginners, as it has a medium volatility and a cracking RTP of 96.27%.

Key Features of Marlin Masters Atlantis:

  • Developer: Hacksaw Gaming
  • Release Date: 23 April 2026
  • RTP: 96.27%
  • Volatility: Medium
  • Grid: 5×4
  • Ways To Win: 26 fixed paylines
  • Max Win: 10,000x bet
  • Key Features: LootLines, Marlin Cash Prize Symbols, Fishermen Collectors (up to 20x multiplier), Kraken Collector Respins, Four Fixed Jackpots, Sunken Empire and Pose for Poseidon Free Spins

Dynasty of Death by Hacksaw Gaming

High-volatility Greek myth slot with the DuelReels mechanic.

Yes, that’s right, we are ending with two Hacksaw Gaming slots inspired by Greek mythology. I am not shy about my love of ancient mythology. Dynasty of Death earns its place because it’s doing something quite different. Where Marlin Masters Atlantis is medium volatility and accessible, Dynasty of Death is high volatility with a 12,500x max win. It also involves a three-tier bonus structure.

The DuelReels mechanic is the key feature, though. When activated, two reels merge into a duelling pair that generates Cash Prize symbols. This feature essentially turns a section of the reels into a high-value collision zone.

The three bonus rounds are tiered by how many scatters land. The King’s Defence, triggered by three scatters, offers 10 Free Spins. If you land four scatters, you trigger Queen’s Dominion with 10 spins, during which DuelReels are guaranteed to include at least one Cash Prize. Five scatters get you 10 Free Spins for the Immortal Mate Hidden Epic Bonus, where every spin is guaranteed to feature VS symbols and duelling Cash Prizes, with a minimum value of 10x each. Of course, landing five scatters is rare, but that is still an extraordinary feature.

The Ancient Greek underworld theme is handled with enough visual craft and understanding of mythology to feel distinct rather than generic. Charon, Cerberus, Persephone, and Hades feature as the high-paying symbols. I’d say, given the bonus structure that scales meaningfully based on the number of scatters, this is one of the more thoughtfully designed slots of the year so far.

Key Features of Dynasty of Death:

  • Developer: Hacksaw Gaming
  • Release Date: 30 April 2026
  • RTP: 96.27%
  • Volatility: High
  • Grid: 5×4
  • Ways To Win: 14 fixed paylines
  • Max Win: 12,500x bet
  • Key Features: DuelReels, Expanding Wilds, Three-Tiered Free Spins (King’s Defence, Queen’s Dominion, Immortal Mate Hidden Epic Bonus)

Final Thoughts

These five slots are a great sample of some of the best recent releases. Jelly Express and Marlin Masters Atlantis are the most accessible. They are both medium-to-high volatility with enough going on to hold attention and without demanding a big budget. Demon’s Gate and Grand Buffalo Hold and Win are more high-volatility, but they are executed so well that they must be recommended. Then, Dynasty of Death is the one I’d watch most closely. It’s got a tiered bonus structure and a maximum win that most new releases this year haven’t matched.
