Concrete Cowboys is played on a 5×5 grid and uses the CollectR system. On each spin, four character symbols land in random positions. Each of these has a different main colour (purple, blue, green or red).

Regular symbols come in these four colours too. If a character is next to a symbol of the same colour (horizontally or vertically), it will collect it. The characters, known as Collectors, also collect feature symbols.

Once all Collectors have moved (if possible), any empty spaces on the grid are refilled. Symbols fall from above to fill any empty spaces, which can lead to new wins being formed on the grid.
