Merge Up 2 has a 6×6 grid and uses the cluster pays system. Four or more matching symbols must be touching horizontally or vertically to have a winning combination. Whenever you win, a cascade takes place, though there’s a twist.

The twist is that not all winning symbols disappear. Some of them remain and transform into the next most valuable symbol. Above the reels is a chain showing symbols in order of value, from left to right.

The progression includes the eight regular symbols, then the bomb and finally the scatter. The number of upgraded symbols depends on the size of the cluster, though only one bomb is created.

Whenever you win, the winning positions are marked. If you win with marked symbols, their positions gain a 2x multiplier. This multiplier is then doubled every time there’s a new winning symbol, up to a maximum value of 128x.
