Well, while we are used to sequels in the slot world, we are having a hard time remembering the last time it has been 15 years between titles. And also feeling a little nostalgic, as how can it be that classic, light-hearted Jack and the Beanstalk slot came out the same year as Twilight-Breaking Dawn?

We suppose after 15 years there are bound to be some changes, but our hero Jack has apparently settled into the corporate grind, which tracks, we guess, as even fairy tale heroes have to settle down and get a real job eventually.

The game itself is quite different in scope and feel as well, and they have kept the walking wilds, which was what set the original title apart. It does have considerably more mechanics working alongside that now, though. And our take is Goaty Mcgoat Face, Jack’s new boss is a bit offputting.

Full Rules & Information About the Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Online Slot

Jack and the Beanstalk 2 takes place on a 5×5 grid, and we’ve got 25 fixed paylines. You’ll need three or more of any matching symbol on a payline, though obviously the stacks of cash wilds can help complete combinations or even trigger respins.

Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Symbols & Payouts

The lower-paying symbols here are four different types of beans, and a nice cup of roasted beans, er coffee. The premium symbols are a rocket, a bean book laptop, a satellite, old Goaty McGoat face, and of course, our boy Jack.

Five beanstalk beans will only get you 1x, but five Jacks get you 25x. You can also land the stacks of cash wilds; five of them will also pay 25x. These wilds can only appear on reels two through five, and they carry multipliers of 3x. They are called walking wilds as they move one reel to the left while triggering respins.

More walking wilds can mean more respins, and their multipliers are added together and then applied to your payout.

Rockets, laptops and satellites are all premium symbols.

Jack and the Beanstalk 2 Bonuses & Features

Three of the bonus stamp symbols trigger a Free Spin round that starts with five free spins. It also locks in three of the Golden Beans somewhere on the grid. These can have multipliers of anywhere from 1x to 10x.

Now, during this bonus round, we have a whole new cast of symbols to contend with. These include a Walking Rocket, Upgrade Collector, Sharer and Spreader symbols. The Walking Rockets can trigger respins and will move one reel to the left until they disappear. If they land on golden beans, then they multiply that value by 3x.

Upgrades are collected in the Upgrade meter. Every time you get a multiple of three of them, these grow the Walking Rockets. The collector symbols, on the other hand, collect the values of all those Golden Beans, and then leave a Golden Bean behind worth all the collected values.

10x your bet gets you Bonus Hunt, which improves odds on Bonus Spins.

Sharer symbols also carry multipliers of 1x to 10x for all those Golden Beans, and leave a Golden Bean with a shared value.

If one of the three bonus symbols is a super bonus spin, you enter the Super Bonus Round with five Super Bonus Spins. This means that all Walking Rockets come five stacked, and at least one of your three starting Golden Bean Coins will have a 10x multiplier. These rounds complete and then add to the spin that activated them before putting you right back into the main game.

Similar Games & Best Alternatives

We went back and played the original Jack and the Beanstalk, and while it was worth it from a nostalgia viewpoint, we can’t see it being a big draw for many of today’s slot players. NetEnt does have a very busy pipeline, though, and we enjoyed recent releases Aftermath and Spice.

Jack Elects to Climb the Corporate Ladder

Jack and the Beanstalk 2 does what any good remake should do. It takes familiar and much-beloved title down an unfamiliar and strange road. The Walking Wilds are a wink at the Jack of old, but Golden Bean Coins and Walking Rockets will certainly remind you that those days are long in the past.

We aren’t really sure that trading derivatives on Golden Bean Coins is true upward mobility after defeating a giant in your youth, but if 2026 has taught us anything, it’s that we have to have a roof over our heads. If that takes a corporate job, credit cards, and rockets, well, growing up comes for all of us.
