Overview of the Pixies of the Forest Slot Game
Pixies of the Forest in Brief:
- Release Date: 10 January 2012
- Type: Video Slot
- Theme: Pixies, Nature, Fantasy
- Software Studio: IGT
- RTP: 94.90%
- Volatility: Medium
- Special Features: Tumbling Reels, Wilds
- Bonus Rounds: Free Spins
- How to Trigger Bonus Round: Land 3 or more Bonus Symbols on a Payline
Truthfully, I found the experience of playing the Pixies of the Forest slot to be quite lacking compared to other modern video slots. On the plus side, the fact that there are limited symbols, 99 fixed paylines, and tumbling reels means wins can feel somewhat frequent.
However, the game’s aesthetics and mechanics feel quite dated, with the clunky autoplay mode being a particular downside. Additionally, the RTP rate of 94.90% is under our preferred rate of 96%, so it’s not the best option for value-seekers. If you’re a fan of pixie and fairy slots, though, it may be just the game for you.

Full Rules & Information About the Pixies of the Forest Online Slot
To get started playing the Pixies of the Forest online slot, set your stake below the reels. The stakes begin from $0.33 and max out at $9.90. You’ll win by landing three or more matching symbols on the 99 fixed paylines.

| Reels | 5 |
| Rows | 3 |
| Paylines | 99, Fixed |
| Multipliers | No |
| Gamble Feature | No |
| Free Spins | Yes |
| Autoplay | Yes |
| Jackpot | No |

As an older slot, there is no turbo mode feature. And while there is an autoplay option, spins will only automatically play if there are no wins. This means you’ll have to manually spin when a combination triggers a tumble, and because this happens frequently, it renders autoplay quite useless
Pixies of the Forest Symbols & Payouts
There are only 9 symbols to land in the Pixies of the Forest slot. The benefit of this is that it makes it more likely for winning combinations to land. The symbols are, in lowest to highest value, the Q, K, A, Green Pixie, Red Pixie, Purple Pixie, and the Pixies of the Forest logo.
The logo is the most valuable symbol, with 5 in a payline awarding 2,000 Coins. There is also a Bonus Scatter and a Wild. The Wild only appears on rows 2 to 4 in the base game and on rows 1 to 4 in the free spins round.
- All symbols: 9
- Highest-Paying Symbol: Pixies of the Forest Logo
- Wilds: Standard Wilds
- Paylines Pay: Left to Right
- Maximum Win: 2,000X
Pixies of the Forest Bonuses & Features
There are two features in the Pixies of the Forest online slot. The first is the tumbling reels. When any winning combination lands, it will pay out, and the symbols will disappear. This triggers all symbols to tumble down to fill their place, with more falling from the top to fill the grid.
This will continue happening until no wins land. The other feature is the free spins, which is triggered when three or more Bonus symbols land across a payline. When this happens, you’ll have to click on a Bonus symbol to reveal how many spins are awarded.
Similar Games & Best Alternatives
If you’re looking for a game with similar aesthetics, themes, or payouts, our Pixies of the Forest online casinos have some great options. One is Pragmatic Play’s Pixie Wings, which has a higher RTP rate of 96.51%, a maximum win of 500X, a free spins round, and a low volatility.
Another game with feminine fantasy characters is Play’N GO’s Moon Princess, an anime-style game that offers regular base game features and a selectable free spins round. It is similar in that it features tumbling symbols but is much more modern and dynamic.
An Enchanted Slot
By now, we hope you know if you want to play Pixies of the Forest for real money. While the game does suffer from being quite dated, it is bound to please fans of the original land-based casino game, Secrets of the Forest. We’d just suggest trying a free demo before playing with cash.
