Roy Brindley – Gambling Expert

Gambling runs through Roy’s veins, it actually dates back generations of his family with them owning racing greyhounds from the early 1930’s. He still loves that sport but having enjoyed financial success brought around by employing the perfect blackjack strategy in land-based casinos his focus changed.

He firstly took up playing poker professionally - during which time he won two televised tournaments, became an author and commentated for many TV stations on their poker coverage. Concurrently he also penned columns in several newspapers, magazines and online publications. As a bonus he met his partner, who was a casino manager, along the way. They now have two children.

In more recent times he has turned his attention, and mathematical skills, to beating the bookies. He loves sharing his wisdom on many gambling sports. Number crunching, analyzing historical data, strategizing and giving his selections on anything from Darts to Formula 1.

A connoisseur of British sports gambling history, in his spare time Roy loves travelling around Europe and skiing (slowly) down blue slopes in the Alps.
