Racinos are track-based casinos where races are held that can be bet on for money and prizes. Oregon currently has no official racinos but does host para-mutual wagering on dog and horse races in limited seasons and the last vote to install one was voted against by 70% of voters. Thus it may be a while before we see any in OR. There are however Indian casinos, bingo halls, and other kinds of gaming facilities to enjoy throughout the state.
Riverboat and cruise ship casinos, as the names imply, are casinos found on water. These are most common in the south and Midwest.
Gambling in Oregon does not include any cruise ship or riverboat casinos. The closest riverboat casino is a few states over in Idaho. There’s plenty of other kinds of casinos and gaming halls to enjoy in Oregon though.
