Key Facts:
- First released in 2023, the game has been a worldwide hit.
- It’s a smash-up of Crazy Time and Lightening Roulette
- Evolution continues to be THE live dealer studio in North America
Evolution’s design process can sometimes remind us of Renaissance Royal matchmakers. This dynasty is beloved across Europe and a rising star across the channel.
And that’s how we imagine Evolution’s design team deciding to take its wildly popular Crazy Time, with its Pachinko, Crazy Time, Cash Hunt, and Coin Flip bonus rounds and giant spinning wheel, and Red Door all narrated by top-notch entertainers and then tying it together with a roulette wheel.
But not just any roulette wheel, but their other smash hit of the last couple of years, Lightning Roulette. In Lightning Roulette, you will see that the lucky lightning can strike anywhere from one to five numbers and then be awarded from 50x to 500x.
This took the three-hundred-year-old game of roulette and introduced it to a whole new generation of ball-spinning enthusiasts. But by tying the two together, especially using the Master of Ceremony, to build both suspense and bets, they’ve taken their already innovative and popular table game and turned it into a red and gold game show fever dream.
And because this is Evolution, you will find that the concept is brought to life in an immaculate studio with highly skilled game presenters, and sleek, well-thought-out interfaces, as well as fantastic live chat capabilities and always without lag or drop.
Evolution In America
Evolution remains the prominent live dealer studio in the US market. It continues to partner with individual operators to open state-specific venues that often target local themes like Sports Teams or other regional influences.
We are incredibly excited to officially launch Red Door Roulette in the US. Our game shows are an excellent introduction for new players to live dealer gaming, and following the game’s success internationally, we look forward to seeing how players in New Jersey and Delaware embrace this unique game.– Jacob Claesson/ Evolution North America, CEO, Press Release
For instance, they have three separate studios in New Jersey alone, having partnered with Hard Rock in the past and just last month opened a new state-of-the-art facility with Caesars inside the Tropicana on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.
The Caesars partnership alone will see them open new studios in Michigan and Pennsylvania in the coming months. The company continues expanding across the North American market with similar deals with large and small operators focused on live dealers. Still, it also offers many other slot titles and first-person table games.
Evolution is laser-focused on long-term growth in the market, even though it currently produces more revenue in both Europe and Asia. Legal gaming is still only allowed in seven US states, with Delaware, West Virginia, and Rhode Island all being relatively tiny markets.
This leaves fierce competition in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and, to a lesser extent, Connecticut, where only the state’s two tribal casinos are allowed online gaming.
However, as Evoliton has made clear in every earnings report for the past six years, they expect the eventual passage of iGaming in more States over time. They are building out their studios and building up their relationships with online operators across the US and Canada, which has a very active iGaming market in Ontario and will soon be expanding in Alberta as well.
With Red Door Roulette, Evolution is once again showcasing why it’s the number one live dealer studio in this country. And, if and when iGaming finally catches fire in the US, they are making the case for why their vision of immersive, innovative live-action gambling could be the star of the show.
