Full Rules & Information About the Tome of Madness Bingo
Tome of Madness Bingo adapts all of our favourite game play from the slot but now uses pattern-based gameplay instead of traditional reels. You can purchase up to four cards at a time, with 30 numbers drawn automatically.
The game features a medium pace and a very nice RTP of 97.38%, which is higher than that of most slot games. Honestly, this is a welcome break from the extreme volatility in some of Play’n GO’s more recent slots.

The important thing here is that the drawn numbers form various patterns on your card, not just the usual five across, up and down or diagonal, with various patterns awarding bonus rounds.
Tome of Madness Symbols & Payouts
Max payouts can combine for up to 5000x, and you can hit up to 1500x in the Treasure of Cthulhu for one winning pattern. But there are 13 separate patterns that will award you a prize, not counting the Perimeter and Rail pattern that enter you into the bonus rounds.
Unlike traditional slots, you need to either have a bingo, or one of the special patterns outlined in the chart below in order to win.

Patterns, not symbols, determine winners in Bingo slots
Tome of Madness Bonuses & Features
We have several potential bonus rounds and special features that can occur.
Extra Balls
When you come close to completing one of the winning patterns you may be offered an extra ball, in fact you can get up to twelve of them. A rare 13th one is only offered if you are close to a major prize.

Once you are close to winning patterns, you can purchase extra balls.
Secrets of the Tome Bonus
This bonus requires a perimeter pattern or the outside numbers to be placed along the entire board. You begin with five picks from the tome library. You can win an instant prize or an extra pick up to eight total.
Mystery Tome Bonus
This one is activated by the Rail Pattern and simply awards instant prizes.
Treasure of Cthulhu
This bonus requires that you are playing all four cards, and that you hit a bingo in the first 30 balls. It awards a fixed bonus win depending on the pattern of the bingo, but you can win up to 4250x your bet if your bingo matches the ones on the prize board.
Similar Games & Best Alternatives
Players who enjoy Tome of Madness Bingo’s darker tone and pattern-driven gameplay might also like Play’n GO’s Reactoonz Bingo, which mixes more familiar slot-like grid mechanics with bingo-style pattern bonuses and offers good RTP as well as high payouts.
Not Grandma’s Bingo Card
If you like a little Eldritch horror mixed with your number calling, and bingo dabbing, you’ve come to exactly the right place. The potential for large bonuses ups the tension without leaving the game feeling too removed from its original version.
Play’n GO continues to innovate with these reinventions of classic slot titles in bingo form, and they turned out to be much more enjoyable and playable than we would have suspected. Do yourself a favour and give one of them a try, even if Ancient Horror and Old Gods isn’t your cup of tea.
