We wanted to like this game; it’s beautifully rendered and visually appealing. The simple mechanics and lack of bonus buys that cost hundreds of times your bet should have been solid selling points.

But in the end, it quickly became boring, and that’s because Pandora’s Box is a bit of a dud. There is no real suspense here; it allegedly opens when you’ve accumulated enough souls, and that’s that.
