IGT & Caesars Create Jackpot Network

The world of gambling is both online and on land and the purpose is to have fun and hopefully win a huge prize and ride into the sunset or sail off to the horizon. There are thousands of small prizes being one every day on the slots in casinos and on the horses at racetracks but the big prizes that hit someone every once in a while are life changing and massive.

The online slots available in regulated jurisdictions for example have the progressive aspect that has the interest of thousands of punters. Progressive jackpots are sometimes in the millions of dollars pounds and euro.

Now in the USA terrestrial gaming operator Caesars Entertainment Corporation and gaming products designer and manufacturer International Game Technology are partnering to launch the first progressive jackpot network in a number of states.

Powerbucks, a wide area progressive jackpot network encompassing other jurisdictions has been developed by IGT as an add-on to its MegaJackpots theme. The deal includes Caesars introducing the Powerbucks product progressive jackpot in its properties in regulated regions, beginning with New Jersey and Nevada. Punters will be able to access the new jackpot network and a combined jackpot.

Melissa Price, Caesars Entertainment’s senior vice-president of gaming commented on the partnership arrangement, “Together, IGT and Caesars Entertainment own the legacy of creating the most millionaires in the industry; now with Powerbucks, we're creating a whole new level of excitement around winning,"

Senior vice-president of global sales for International Game Technology, Eric Tom, also commented, “We're excited to transform the jackpot experience in partnership with Caesars Entertainment. With Powerbucks, IGT re-imagines casino gaming thrills by creating more winners, more often, across multiple states.” Tom added, “We all win when players engage more, and Powerbucks enables our customers to attract more players to casinos with the promise of more jackpots."
