888poker Online Gambling Rewards Deal Renewed

The online gambling industry struggles to keep patrons focused and coming back to the same web location. There are programs that promote loyalty that are designed to attract and then maintain a customer’s interest in a particular gambling activity. These loyalty programs vary across the available offerings which include poker rooms and casino web locations.

Most loyalty programs at online casinos and poker rooms include levels within their loyalty programs. As the player begins to play and earn points there is the opportunity to advance to higher levels based on the volume wagered. The more that is wagered the faster the player will progress through the levels being offered. Generally loyalty programs allow for levels to be reached on a quarterly basis and almost all programs will maintain players at the minimum level so the risk of being removed from the program is eliminated.

Now the online poker website operated by 888 has announced details of its renovated loyalty programme, which will see the offer move from a rake back model to a system based on challenges, tokens and level progress. 888poker’s, ‘888poker Club’ will reward customers with points when they complete a number of challenges regarding poker, as well as when customers play casino games and use the 888 sports book service. The new loyalty club version is scheduled to launch on March 28, 2016 and it has been revealed that 888poker will honour the current cash back commitments under the scheme.

888poker posted, “We'd like to assure you that despite these major changes, 888poker will fully honour its cash back commitment to all players, including its VIPs, who are currently entitled to yearly cash back in the existing rewards plan.

“Moreover, any reward points players accumulated in the current rewards programme will be automatically transferred to Gold Tokens, with equal value, in the new 888poker Club and will continue to be redeemable any time.” The posting added, “The cash back available in our current rewards programme will likely not correspond to that offered in the new 888poker Club.”
