Poker Players Can Use 'Quick Deposit' in USA

Since, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) went into full effect on June 1st, 2010 poker players from the USA may be having some difficulty depositing at Full Tilt Poker. InstantPoker, one of the top online poker card rooms has some help with a new deposit method called, Quick Deposit.
For years, ever since the UIGEA was enacted in 2006 only coming into effect this past June, online poker players were apprehensive about the future of their gambling options. The law does not make it illegal for US residents to play poker online, it just makes it illegal for banks to process any transactions. Poker players may now take some comfort in the new method. In a statement, issued as a press release July 3rd, it says that, “eChecks have simply been renamed by Full Tilt Poker, and are now known as “Quick Deposit”. It emphasizes that only the name has changed.
Players in the States and world-wide know this is one of the fastest, safest, ways for online poker players to deposit, or withdraw, at the popular online poker rooms. However, it may take a while for some of the uncertainty to dissipate from the online gambling world. Since some banks in the past included ‘online poker’ in with other forms of online gambling while other banks did not, online poker players experienced confusion. When it works, it remains a convenient way for players to get money directly from their own bank account transferred into their online poker account. Once again the bank transaction should only take a few moments for confirmation that the fund transfer has occurred.
Remember that a minimum purchase via Quick Deposit is still $10 but when the first Quick Deposit is successfully completed any limits will be lifted based on the longevity of your recent membership. Although Full Tilt Poker charges no transaction fees for Quick Deposit each player is responsible for their country’s financial institution fees. You will need sufficient funds in the account to cover these and of course players must be 18 years of age to use Quick Deposit.
