Online Mobile Payment Solution Jumio Almost Ready to Launch

A new start up mobile payment solution provider called Jumio Inc. is currently in the final phase of its development which has been occurring at its development centre in Austria. The California based firm founded in 2010 is headed up by Daniel Mattes who in 2007, was voted the 81st most important Austrian citizen by Austrian magazine “News” as part of the “1000 most important Austrians” list. Mattes credentials are impressive, with Daniel beginning his career with the start of his first company,, an online public tendering solution for which he received the Austrian Federal Award of Excellence. The company was acquired within two years of inception and today is the largest tendering solution in Austria and Europe.
A portion of Jumio Inc.’s high profile advisory board was revealed recently and it is also very impressive.
Mattes, commented on the announcement, "We are extremely pleased that our ideas and technology attract such talent. It shows me that we are right on track with our approach to make online and mobile payments easier and more secure," Those invited as advisors to the new firm are all pioneers in the field, Zain Khan Mark Britto and Maarten Linthorst
Zain Khan built Google's infrastructure back in 1999 said this about the start up Jumio, "It's mainly the technological brilliance and the complexity that lies in this payment solution that excites a tech-person like me. Add a proven team and the product is bound to be successful."
Mark Britto built the main payment infrastructure for Amazon. He regards Jumio as the solution to one of the few remaining Internet problems, he commented, "The challenge of fully securing online payments has been an ongoing one. Jumio is perfectly prepared to solve the problem."
Maarten Linthorst was a pioneer for the development of the Internet. Linthorst said that "Jumio will revolutionize the way we think about online payment -- both from a technological and a social point of view."
