Online Gambling Technology Exposed Mobile World Congress

The need for speed on the internet can be enhanced by the devise the user employs. The newest consumer products for accessing the internet for online gambling or communicating with other players were recently displayed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona Spain wrapping up on February 28 2013.

The GSMA the presenters of the Congress was established as far back as 1985 and recently reported that more than 72,000 visitors from over 200 countries attended the 2013 Mobile World Congress. The four-day conference and exhibition attracted executives from the world’s largest and most influential mobile operators, software companies, equipment providers, Internet companies and companies from industry sectors such as automotive, finance and healthcare, as well as government delegations from across the globe. Over 50 per cent of this year’s Mobile World Congress attendees hold C-level positions, including more than 4,300 CEOs.

John Hoffman, CEO, GSMA Ltd. commented on the Congress, “We are thrilled with the record results for Mobile World Congress 2013, in our first year here in Fira Gran Via,” Hoffman added, “Mobile is one of the most vibrant and dynamic industries in the world, and the innovation that is powering the sector was clearly evident throughout Mobile World Congress, in the exhibition, the conference, programmes such as App Planet and mPowered Brands and new event initiatives such as the NFC Experience.

Mobile online devises and use has exploded over the last decade with the trend growing still surpassing all expectations. The use of mobile devises for internet wagering has grown along with the development of smartphones. The Congress focused on the latest devises available and the applications to go with them. The mobile economy has matured and will continue to advance as more and more people purchase tablets and smartphones enabling online gambling operators to reach more jurisdictions and cultures. Online wagering may very well be the biggest trend for the gambling industry to come along in years and keeping up with the latest development s in mobile technology can make the games even more enjoyable.
