Club Roulette Review – Everything You Need to Know

Last Update: 05/05/2023

With a name like Club Roulette, one would assume that this game has some sort of exclusive features, whether that be payouts, rules, or settings. However, I was disappointed to find that Playtech released a pretty straightforward European roulette variant that really isn’t deserving of the connotation that the word club has. The only thing I could think of was that maybe the developer was referring to the game’s bone-rattling electronic music. Playtech is a staple amongst the online casino industry and the company’s games can be found at many credible online casinos, however, if you follow the link below, you will be taken to my casino of choice to play Club Roulette online. If you’d like to learn more about this variant feel free to follow along as I delve deeper into this Club Roulette review.

In this review, I will discuss all aspects of Playtech’s take on a beloved casino classic. You will learn about the games rules and features, you will read about the payoff rates of various bets and you will have the chance to try the game for yourself if you play the Club Roulette demo.

Try a Free Demo

In this section of my Club Roulette review, you’ll have a chance to play online for free. When you walk into a land-based casino, one of the most impressive things you’ll notice is the variety of different games a casino possesses. Online casinos are no different. The games aren’t just for show, and each one has its own rules and differences. Instead of experiencing growing pains (losing money) while trying to learn how to play, I suggest you take time to play the Club Roulette demo below. Honestly, most online casinos will offer some type of free play. When the opportunity for free play is available, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t take it.

With the free demo, you can get a feel for the Club Roulette rules, test out bonus features and become acquainted with in-game navigation. Within the first few minutes, you’ll be able to tell if the game has the right feel for you, whether that be music, graphics or colours (call me boring, but sometimes I like a simple and clean table). If you aren’t really fussed about the game’s cosmetic elements, and only care about the rules, payouts and features, then the next section of this review is for you as it deals with the various Club Roulette rules.

Club Roulette Rules and Features

Club Roulette is a beautiful looking game, complete with an easy to read playing table and shiny wheel. If you hold your mouse over any of Club Roulette’s betting options, the game will highlight the number(s) the wager applies to. This is a useful feature, and I’m glad to see it featured more and more in online variants. The game comes equipped with the familiar racetrack, which allows for easy and quick betting on your number of choice and its neighbours. Now for the rules. Club Roulette is a variant of European Roulette, which means there is one zero on the wheel and 37 slots for the ball to fall into. If you aren’t familiar with the differences between French and European roulette, check out my handy guide on how to play roulette. Included in the guide are the different rules and terms surrounding the popular table game.

The Club Roulette online table game has the usual payoff rates for inside and outside bets. Outside wagers tend to have better odds, and thus pay lower rates when you win. For example, bets covering half of the board (ie. odds/evens, black/red) will pay 1:1 if you win. 12 number bets will pay 2:1. The fewer numbers you place your chips on, the better the payoff. A one number bet (or straight up) will award a 35:1 payoff. In terms of features, the game allows you to choose from a variety of special or fixed call wagers such as Voisins du Zero (neighbours of zero). If you are one of the few who like the game’s club-like music, you’ll be happy to know that in the customisable settings, you can choose from three different musical tracks (you can also shut the music off). This is level of customisation that I don’t find in many games.

Club Roulette Review – Play for Real Money

You’ve come to the end of my Club Roulette review, and by now you have played a demo and familiarised yourself with the Club Roulette rules. The game has decent enough graphics and an RTP of 97.20% which is around the average, so there are more than enough reasons to play the game. Although the UK voted ‘leave’, you can still experience the cultural offerings of European roulette with this variant. This Playtech variant is offered at most legitimate casinos, but my top casino for playing it can be found if you click on the link below.
