European Expansion Continues for Ukrainian iGaming Provider as it Enters Three New Jurisdictions

Kyiv-based iGaming products provider, Spribe, has started the month of July on the front foot. The innovative solutions provider has secured supplier licenses for the regulated gambling markets of Sweden, Italy, and Romania. These permits will enable Spribe to provide gambling operators with its top-notch online casino games like Aviator, Mines, Hi-Lo, and more. After entering the aforementioned markets, Spribe is now present in 18 different regulated gambling markets around the world.

Spribe is a relatively new company, but it understands the wants and needs of the upcoming wave of new iGaming users. It utilizes that information to create the best possible games for consumer satisfaction. Shortly after its establishment in 2018, Spribe entered a strategic partnership with one of Georgia’s biggest online casinos – Adjarabet. Since then, the Ukrainian games provider has added several options to its portfolio. The most renowned and wanted product that Spribe offers is Aviator. It is Spribe’s flagship game, released in January 2019 and then upgraded to Aviator 2.0 seven months later. It is a social multiplayer game with an upward curve that can crash anytime. The player has to cash out before the plane flies away or crashes. It is quite simple and has a Return To Player (RTP) rate of 96 percent. The RTP rate is the percentage of the deposited amount that is returned to the player in the initial stages of a game. Hence, the operators that offer games with a high RTP rate tend to attract more players as the losses are minimal.

However, in many jurisdictions, gambling regulators ask licensed operators not to keep the RTP rate extremely high as it could attract vulnerable audiences, which could lead to an increase in harmful gambling numbers. Apart from Aviator, Spribe also has a plethora of peer-to-peer (P2P) games that were launched in 2019. A month after that launch, the first batch of Turbo Games was launched. This set of games was a blend of traditional and next-generation games that were developed, keeping the tech-savvy generation in mind. According to Spribe, the Turbo Games were specifically designed to target the Millenials. Two years after its establishment, Spribe expanded its segment and launched more responsive HTML5 and mobile-optimized P2P games and skill games that included Poker, Backgammon, Domino, and more. In December 2020, a month after the skill games went live, Spribe received the first set of supplier licenses from the Malta Gambling Authority (MGA) and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC). These were the first of many licenses Spribe earned in its effort to expand across Europe.

To date, Spribe has entered several regulated gambling jurisdictions worldwide. In Europe, the Kyiv-based provider received supplier licenses in Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Gibraltar, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Netherlands, Serbia, and Switzerland. Recently, the iGaming solutions provider has also entered the Swedish, Italian, and Romanian gambling markets. After securing the new set of licenses, Spribe showcased the company’s performance in the top five jurisdictions they are present in. According to the Kyiv-based entity, it has already made significant progress in Italy. The credit for this quick progress also goes to the partnership deal that was struck with sports betting and iGaming operator SKS365. Quite a few operators are looking to establish a partnership with Spribe as it understands the requirements of the digital natives and provides games accordingly. Apart from the European Union, Spribe has entered the regulated jurisdictions of the United Kingdom, Colombia, South Africa, and the province of Ontario, Canada.

Giorgi Tsutskiridze was recently instated as the new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Spribe. He shed light on how Spribe intends to launch its games in the new markets.

“Spribe is known for Aviator, but we also have a portfolio of Turbo Games that are just as fun to play. Having secured approval from Gaming Associates, we can now launch these titles with our operator partners in Romania and Italy, as well as all Malta markets. This will allow our partners to stand out from their rivals through next-generation content that appeals to an important but hard to engage audience. Ultimately, our games offer superior levels of entertainment, and we can’t wait to see players in Romania and Italy experience, Mines, Hi-Lo and Goal for the first time.”

The new supplier license in Sweden and what Spribe paid for it

Last year, the supreme decision-making body of Sweden, Riksdag, tabled a proposal for the introduction of a new gambling license. The Nordic state already had a B2C gambling permit that allowed gambling operators to offer their services to people in Sweden. However, there was no specific license for B2B companies that wanted to provide gambling operators with products and solutions like online casino games, iGaming platforms, and payment solutions.

As a result, Sweden followed in the footsteps of many other gambling jurisdictions and opted to introduce a supplier license for B2B gambling products and game-providing companies. The new permit came into effect at the start of this month. As soon as the announcement of the new supplier license was official, the Swedish Gambling Authority, Spelinspektionen, received over 60 applications.

In the initial clearance, 15 licenses were granted. Synot Games, Skill on Net, and Norrkoping AB received approvals on their applications and became the first holders of the Swedish supplier license. The regulator will charge a fee of SEK 120,000 for the B2B license, and the validity of each license will be five years. Spribe had also applied for the same license and has become one of the latest B2B providers to receive the permit.

Spribe joined the Powered by Relax partnership program this year

In February this year, Spribe struck a deal with Renowned iGaming content aggregator Relax Gaming. The deal enabled Relax Gaming to distribute Spribe’s entire gaming suite to several gambling operators worldwide. Over 3,000 online casino games are offered to a plethora of iGaming operators by Relax Gaming.

The Powered by Relax partnership program will enable the distribution of Turbo Games across the globe, while the flagship game of Aviator will be offered to top-tier operator partners of Relax Gaming. Since Aviator is licensed in over 20 jurisdictions, its distribution will be easier, and the popularity of the game will certainly attract customers on any iGaming platform it appears on.
