Pau FC Become Major Sponsorship Partner For Mansion Sports

French side Pau FC have officially partnered with the Chinese subsection of the Mansion Sports brand to focus on merchandising and marketing campaigns. While this has meant a significant increase in brand image for the French football club, this is also a fantastic opportunity for the China based firm to increase its European appeal and find more customers for the online platform. They have already proven to be incredibly popular across the world and a number of successful campaigns with other sports teams including former Premier League side Hull FC and many others. Whether this campaign will live up to the rest is yet to be seen.

The overall appeal of Mansion Sports revolves around the variety of online games available to players across the world. While operating with a standardised product worldwide, this allows them offer the same experience for a wide variety of customers, some of whom are unable to access a similar quality of online casino in their country. Residents of Cambodia and Vietnam for example are extremely limited in terms of online gambling websites. This is due to older legislation preventing the market expansion and the use of offshore betting sites unless they are approved by the government agency.

Mansion Sports will now have a prime opportunity to increase the branding potential of the brand with this new partnership. Pau FC aren’t exactly a massive club in France, but they have been steadily growing thanks to a number of successful seasons in the lower divisions of French football. This made them an attractive proposition for any potential sponsor and Mansion Sports didn’t hesitate to sign them up to the team. The two parties held a meeting in Paris with representatives flying all the way from Shanghai to secure the deal between them. After a brief negotiation, the two parties reached a firm agreement that seems to mutually benefit both organizations.

The company logo will feature on all future merchandise including match shirts and training tops, both of which are the regular sellers at the club shop and on the website. This also gives Pau FC a chance to promote themselves to a wider audience. The Asian market for football is massive, one of if not the biggest in the world. The viewing figures are staggering with millions tuning in for European matches every single week. The Premier League is especially popular, but the Spanish, French and German leagues all receive an equal amount of attention from Asian viewers.

Pau FC are also due to undertake a club tour in 2023 to Vietnam in order to promote the brand to local fans and connect with people across the world. This isn’t an easy task for any small club like Pau FC, they are relying on Mansion Sports to partially fund the trip and all the games they will play. One of which will be against Shanghai FC, the biggest club in China, where roughly 70,000 fans are expected to attend even though it’s just a friendly match. The interest from broadcasters has also helped to boost the profile of clubs such as Pau FC and many others as the bidding war to show the matches live on TV has gained serious promise worldwide.

Pau FC Land The Big Time

While this is a massive move for Pau FC, they are expecting to follow up the sponsorship move with more excellent performances this season. IF they are unable to pull through and stay in the second division, this could lead to an alteration of the contract which could effect the financial aspects as well as branding and promotion responsibilities. This is unlikely to be a problem however as bookies have predicted that Pau FC are likely to do very well this season, some are even backing them to challenge for the title which would earn them automatic promotion into the first division of French football.

Mansion Sports are expecting to receive a hug boost in activity following this deal thanks to the already familiar markets of football fans and betting site users. While this is a tried and tested formula for success, these deals do not always blossom as they might hope. Schalke 04 for example had a deal scrapped after they agreed a sponsorship agreement with Betway. After their relegation from the first division of the German League, Betway went onto scrap the branding partnership and instead partnered with other European sides they deemed worthy of the brand association.
