Caesars Launched Online Sportsbook in Puerto Rico in July 2023

The gambling landscape in Puerto Rico underwent a notable transformation with the official launch of Caesars Entertainment’s online sports betting platform in July 2023. The arrival of the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app and website introduces a convenient and user-friendly way for residents of the territory to engage in sports wagering.

While initially catering exclusively to Puerto Rico residents, the platform’s accessibility is set to expand. In the coming months, non-residents visiting the territory will also have the opportunity to register for the Caesars Sportsbook app, ensuring a wider audience can partake in the platform’s offerings.

The integration of the Caesars Rewards loyalty program with the sportsbook app and website further enhances the experience for users. Through this integration, every bet placed becomes an avenue for earning valuable tier credits that can be utilized to unlock various enticing experiences across Caesars Entertainment destinations, fostering an engaging and rewarding experience for users of the platform.

Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, underscored the significance of their newly launched mobile sports wagering platform in an eventful development for the industry. He emphasized the platform’s value addition, further enriching the customer experience alongside the existing MetroBets with Caesars Sportsbook at Casino Metro:

“The launch of our mobile sports wagering platform is an excellent complement to the elevated experience we’ve provided customers at MetroBets with Caesars Sportsbook at Casino Metro. We’re confident customers will enjoy an experience they can’t find anywhere else.”

Caesars Sportsbook Rode Into Kentucky in June 2023

Caesars Sportsbook announced a strategic collaboration in June 2023 with Keeneland and Red Mile racetracks in preparation for the impending launch of legalized sports betting in Kentucky. Through these significant partnerships, the sports betting operator secures valuable market access for mobile sports betting operations within the Bluegrass State.

The agreements between Caesars Sportsbook and the racetracks also encompass plans for the establishment and operation of retail sports betting venues across Central Kentucky. However, the realization of these plans remains contingent upon approvals from the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission. This move by Caesars is in line with its proactive approach to secure a foothold in the emerging Kentucky sports betting market.

Kentucky’s recent enactment of sports betting legislation, signed into law by Governor Andy Beshear in April 2023, has created an environment of anticipation and potential within the state. The collaboration with Keeneland and Red Mile racetracks positions Caesars Sportsbook as a significant player in this new and evolving landscape of legalized sports betting in Kentucky.

Sharing a statement was once again Eric Hession, the President of Caesars Digital, who lauded this significant collaboration as he emphasized the historical importance of both institutions in the state, while underlining the value of this partnership not only for Caesars but also for the enthusiastic sports betting community within Kentucky:

“Keeneland and Red Mile are iconic horse racing venues with an important legacy in the state of Kentucky. Customers in the region have long enjoyed our world-class Caesars destinations and, most recently, our horse racing wagering app, Caesars Racebook. Working with these historic institutions provides an unmatched opportunity to reach sports and racing fans in the state, and we look forward to working with the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission as we prepare to launch later this year.”
